FYI: When you freeze tofu, it makes the holes inside the tofu bigger where the liquid is & then it makes it much easier for the liquid to come out and it also changes the texture of the tofu to make it chewier. I prefer it to be frozen, thawed & squeezed with your hands only (squeeze between your flat palms - get most of the water out) If you freeze your tofu, you don't need a tofu press. P.S. this video came up on my feed - didn't realize it's a year old😂

You are supposed to push the white handles down on the outside with the tofu press. Do one side at a time, and when you've pushed the first white handle down do the other side, and keep your other hand on the top all the time so it doesn't spring up

Sorry, mistake. They do go on the inside. I forgot what with not having it infront of me but I used it today and they do go on the inside. Sorry about that.

Sure wish we had your grocery prices. Bought strawberries and grapes yesterday at $4.99 a pound. Eggs were $4.90 a dozen. A quart of oatmilk is between $3.00 to $4.00 each. So hard for families that have high rents along with heating cost, electric and now high food prices.
