LOL I downloaded the video and converted it to play on a PS2 for the hell of it (640x480, mpeg2 video codec (basically the same as a DVD), and played it in simple media system. It did NOT like that color scene but handled the rest just fine, although it was probably an issue with USB (The PS2 only has usb 1.1, which is a bit slow for video) I bet if I burned it to a proper DVD or loaded over the network it'd play flawlessly.

Interesting. On an LCD screen the “this is black” part has a HUGE noticeable difference to a much darker colour, but on my phone with an OLED screen it’s exactly the same, not a slight bit of difference, the blacks in the before and after are literally pitch black, as if the screen was off. Was expecting a more noticeable difference on the OLED honestly, but it handled both the before and after incredibly.

Its kind of a scam: the "before" is just the white turned on 1 out of 256. When they show the after they turn it to fully black. This is to amplify the effect. An oled screen actually handles and sees this 1% of white and just turns it into fully black(fully off)

@@nazmulhuda3262. the LG C1 supports both the HDR 10 and Dolby Vision standards...the original comment is correct, the bitrate of this particular video is low and banding is present on higher end 4K displays. It may not be as noticeable on your lower res/smaller display (I'm guessing you're viewing on a phone?).
