But why are you embarrassed to claim your original Tai roots in China. Why steal Khmer culture and call it your own. 🤦♂️

So this classic folkloric ballet is an original from Cambodia and not Siam/Thailand?
@TM-hd5iv Жыл бұрын
Correct. The Thais adapted this from the Khmer people. In Cambodia, depictions on Angkor Wat depict a scene of Ramayana back nearly a millennium ago. Read: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reamker en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramakien

It's complicated. The Ancient Khmer of Angkor Period had an Apsara dance, but we don't really know what that dance was actually like except for some static poses carved on the bas reliefs of Angkor Wat. That ancient Apsara dance is forever lost, but it may have influenced the developement of Sukothai dance forms which may have influenced later Ayutthaya Dance forms that evolved into Thai Royal Khon (Ramakien) Classical dance. This Apsara dance is a modern 1960s reinterpretation with influences from Thai Royal Khon dance that was adopted by the Cambodian Royal Court in the 16th-17th centuries during periods of Ayutthaya/Ratthankosin hegemony over Cambodia, but with emphasis on inventing new and reviving old movements and gestures based on Khmer traditions. The Apsara dance has displaced Lakohn Khol (Cambodians' adaptation of Thai Khon) to again become the premiere dance of the Cambodian Royal Court. Ramakien remains the premiere dance of the Thai Royal Court. Thailand also has Apsara dances performed in provinces with Khmer heritage like Surin bordering Cambodia, but those Apsara dances are not the same as this Cambodia Royal Ballet dance. They are folksie dances. Apsara dance has never been a dance in the Thai Royal Court.
This culture from Siam kingdom. Some young Cambodian king grew up or born in palace in Bangkok, Chakri dynasty look after them. After that they went back to be king of Cambodia.Example, Nak Ong Aeng(4-11 yearold), Nak Ong Jun ( born in bbk palace) and Nak Ong Duang(born in Udong palace came to BKk palace and stayed when he was16-43 yearold.) who is the last Cambodian king from Siam.Then, Cambodia belong to France.

The propaganda policy of Cambodia has been aimed at establishing the country as the origin of Asian culture, with a particular focus on Thai culture. This policy includes accusations of copyright infringement of clothing design, art, food, architecture, and even sports such as Muay Thai. Cambodia has even gone so far as to change information on Thailand's Wikipedia page, accusing the country of stealing everything from Cambodia. These claims are used to legitimize Cambodia's imitation of everything from Thailand. The roots of Cambodia's propaganda policy can be traced back to its history as a French colony. Under French rule for 90 years, from 1863-1953, Cambodia was subject to an education for nationalism and political and administrative interests. This policy has continued into the present day, with Cambodia seeking to establish itself as the true origin of Asian culture. However, these claims are not supported by historical or scientific evidence. Despite Cambodia's accusations, Thai people have been living in the region for over 2000 years, as confirmed by DNA testing. Ancient Thailand had contacts with other ancient kingdoms, exchanging knowledge and various technologies. Thai culture also has its roots in Buddhism, which originated in Sri Lanka. Thailand has been open to all religions in the past and has dealt with traders from India and Europe. In conclusion, Cambodia's propaganda policy aimed at establishing the country as the origin of Asian culture is not supported by historical or scientific evidence. Instead, it seems to be driven by political and administrative interests. While Cambodia has a rich culture and history, it is important to recognize and respect the cultural heritage of other countries in the region. www.quora.com/Why-does-Cambodia-claim-Thai-culture-as-theirs kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXe1qICFmqaGoaM www.nationtv.tv/entertainment/378674244 Cambodia requests UNESCO Help support cultural exchange between countries in Khon. Because Cambodia lacks teacher Khon,we're going to teach him. As time passes, the next generation doesn't know. become his again Because during the time of M.R. Kukrit Pramoj, he had already sent people to convey #Cambodia propaganda

Blah blah blah didnt read your essay. But yah you literally described your own Thai culture. " Thai" to the world at every opportunity. "Thai" borrowed and stolen culture from neighboring countries. Take something from the neighbour's add some chillies, some fish sauce, pepper, salt and sugar. Put on a platter called " Thainess" 😂😂😂😂 everyone knows your dirty agenda. Throughout history there isn't anything the thais wouldn't do to change history in their favor. To hide the fact that they ran for their lives from china scared they would be china's slave for another millennium. Thus thais used dirty tricks to steal people's land and culture and call it theirs. Haha sound about right? Nong Siam? Still want more land to grow increasingly popular Thai chillies?
Oh well well because it’s our culture after all and you said that your country origin is from China and India right? Maybe that’s something you need to do research your country origin is from China (forest thieves from China) not from India. Do more research and accept the truth. Your Thai dance can’t compare to us because you adopting the dance from us your dance 99% adopted from us. But anyways you had commented on this video so it mean that you’re interested in our culture so thank you!
