Asen Zlatev | Асен Златев | The former king of 82,5kg is back! | Olympic Weightlifitng 2017

Asen Zlatev's back in 2017 at World Maters Games (in 69kg category). He is the former king of 82,5 from 1980's. Olympic champion, 3 times World Champion, 5 times European Champion, and world record holder in the 82,5kg class with 183KG SNATCH and 225KG CLEAN AND JERK (at training he clean and jerked 230kg!). This time he competed in the 69kg category, where he won silver medal in the total (78+90). He went for 95kg two times for the gold, but the judges aren't give to him white :/ But it doesn't matters, he isa living legend and still on the platform!

Why were the 2nd and 3rd clean and jerks no lifts? Doesn’t seem like he failed either the clean or the jerk or anything?

No idea for the 2nd, from the angle going frame by frame maybe the 3rd jerk was a pressout. But honestly I think they unnecessarily harsh
