Niko the drummer had a stroke right before the start of the European tour, he went into rehab and was able to start the tour. He just announced that he just getting to 85 to 90%. He is still going strong. Up the Irons.

They are all over 60 years old and Nico (drummer is over 70!), these guys are way better to watch live than some guys half of their age! UP THE IRONS!!!

I have been a Maiden fan since the 80s and had seen them live a couple of times. Last Sep22 I saw them live in Mexico and in my view (as a musician) they performed at their best level ever, even at their age. More Maiden reactions please (preferably live!!), Up the IRONS!!

Good to see you back reacting to Maiden. Saw them live this past October with 2 of my daughters in Columbus, OH. They gained 2 new young fans! ;) Edit: Their latest official video is off the new Senjutsu album. You should check it out: "The writing on the wall" (Animated video).

Writing on the Wall is about the only actual music video I can think of. All the others show at least in part them singing live or on at least a sound stage.

Most Iron maiden music videos are a mix of live performance and film footage, stuff like the Aces high video starting with Churchill's speech. Some of the more recent song do have animated music videos. The Best example is the Writing on the Wall video from the last album. The Video for Speed of Light of the Book of Souls album is nice and entertaining one as well, quite underrated in my opinion.

They'll be already on tour again next year, I have my ticket for Munich/Germany. Themewise it seems to be a crossover between their latest album "Senjutsu" (which this track is from) and their 1986 album "Somewhere in time". It's gonna be huge 🤘🏻🙂

For a music video from them “Holy Smoke”is fun.There’s a little bit of studio footage but it’s mostly them goofing around in the countryside for nearly 4 minutes straight.

I also think its about happiness. As happy as they where as kids when they rocked out in the garage. Its good to see this, as you said, theres nothing that says that you only can be happy as a kid, you can be as happy in the age of Iron Maiden, and they got to be kind a old. They have been around since the 70'. New wave of British heavy metal, when Lars Ulrich was a kid and a fan of that kind of new (today old) metal.

If u wanna check out Iron Maiden music videos, maybe start w/ 'The Wickerman' from 2000, which recreated the plot of the original movie w/ Maiden doing the soundtrack... 'Wasting love' from 1992 was a rare Iron Maiden ballad and dark concept... 'Can I play with madness' (1988) did not feature the band (except on a TV) but actor Graham Chapman did the video, his last appearance before he died from cancer... 'Run to the hills' (1982) was the first music video w/ Bruce Dickinson, spliced band performance w/ a Buster Keaton silent movie... 'Aces high' (1984) spliced the band performance w/ World War II aerial battle footage... 'Wasted years' (1986) captured the band in that moment w/ past footage... 'The number of the beast' (1982) was a performance video w/ a dancing couple (drummer Nicko McBrain was one of the 'devils' in the clip before he even joined the band!) ... 'Holy smoke' (1990) was a low budget clip w/ some humor... 'Be quick or be dead' (1992) was also a very fast-moving clip. Maiden's first music video was w/ singer Paul Di'Anno, a cover song 'Women in uniform' in 1980, originally by The Skyhooks... The song 'Man on the edge' (1995) featured Blaze Bayley on vocals.

I would go with either 1984's Aces High kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpickoSsn7KGbJI , or 2021's The Writing on the Wall kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJmln4ptl797e6c .... One is Maiden in what many consider their prime, middle of the 80s incredible run..., then the masterpiece this late in their career.., proving once again, Greatest , Most Epic Band Ever..., Cheers!!!!!

I am a huge Maiden fan but they are not sounding great live anymore. Plus their energy is way down. But they are elderly so I expect that. I would say do studio audio and lyrics to appreciate them these days. Thank you for reacting to them. I’m always excited to watch these videos from you

it goes too show their talent and its only the truly great bands who's music crosses the generations. clean living and friendship is why they still enjoy what they do and they have never forgotten their fans who got them to where they are as it wasn't the media. its disgusting they are not in the rock hall of fame as they have influenced so many of todays metal bands, nightwish and lovebites among them
