Watching After Midnight dance practice makes me realize they never stop moving. I don't know what guide to watch, but love the asmr stuff with punishment when they are too loud videos, cause they are always too loud. I watched the movie that came out recently of the Seoul concert after MJ entered the military and some of those performances were so amazing and seeing the effort they put into all of it is just next level. Eunwoo even did MJ's trot song Get Set Yo. I wish I owned more albums is all I can say. I will keep watching your journey.

definitely watch the pastel kookies astro guide !! it’s really well-made and helpful . i feel like most aroha didn’t vibe with one either because of how different it is from the rest of their discography . but the b-sides on that album really make up for it imo

Realmente sus bsides valen mucho la pena. Si las canciones principales son buenas, sus bsides son lo que le siguen de buenas, sobre todo por que puedes apreciar más sus voces en diferentes estilos, y sobretodo en los últimos álbumes en donde se han ido involucrando cada vez más, ya sea como letristas y/o compositores, incluso como parte de la producción de las canciones. Incluso hay videos de ellos en su canal donde los puedes ver dirigiendo algunas de sus composiciones en el estudio de grabación. Si tienes oportunidad, aparte de revisar el trabajo de la subunidades, que también valen la pena, revisa su discografía con calma, creo que no te arrepentirás de invertir tu tiempo en eso. Y aunque no reacciones a ellas, también date oportunidad de ver sus presentaciones en el escenario de sus canciones, son de verdad bestias del escenario, nacieron para estar arriba de los escenarios. Y también si tienes oportunidad de ver sus shows y los videos de su canal (play y ddocca) gozarás mucho de la personalidad de estos hombres, son naturalmente divertidos y muy genuinos en su forma de ser. 💜💜⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💜💜

if you like most of their title tracks, you're going to love their b-sides. astro is pretty consistent in terms of sound and IMO they don't do filler songs. they've said they're very involved in the creative process of their albums, especially these days, from selecting songs, to writing all their own rap verses, to writing and composing a lot of songs themselves. and astro's self-made songs are really fantastic (all good, our spring, my zone, one&only, bloom, gemini, just breathe, lazy, and cpr are some of my faves but there's more). i think someone else said this below but for their switch on mini album (the one w/ after midnight) all but one song was either written and/or composed by them and every member participated.

With One, it wasn't my favourite title song but I was more than proud to see Astro trying a mainstream sound and slaying it while equally slaying later comebacks like After Midnight and Candy Sugar Pop. It's the versatility they show that has my heart. I may not like every Astro song equally but I love all the flavors they give to me and I listen to each and every of their song with pride and happiness.

Thanks as always for another Astro reaction, Casey! I was kinda expecting you wouldn’t dig One, and you’re not alone. This is a big departure from their usual style, but like you, I appreciate it more when watching it performed than just listening to it as a song. When you get to this album, it will throw you off because it’s like the odd one out. However, this song did bring in a lot of attention to the group as there are definitely many people out there that dig this type of music. And for that, I appreciate it as it allowed Astro to be discovered by more people. In a weird way, I am glad about your reaction. That tells me you actually “get” Astro. Can’t wait for you to explore their B sides!

You're such an Aroha :) I say that because One is also one of the least loved songs by the fandom but we like it nonetheless. It's also one of the most well-known songs of Astro. After Midnight is such a summer song, it always cheers me up. It brought many awards to the group and since the lyrics are written by Eunwoo it has a special place in my heart:) If you are going to watch a guide definitely check out Pastel Kookies 2022 guide, it is by far the best one. Apart from MVs you should check out some of the dance practices. When You Call My Name is my favorite and they have great stage performances with that song. My Zone and Moon Walk dance practices are also superb. They also have some self made MVs they shoot for songs they make for Aroha, they are the cutest but also quite good. you should definitely react to their subunits. Both subunits have really good music that is different from what Astro does usually. Moonbin and Sanha have a more darker concept while Jinjin and Rocky have a more fun/funky concept. Both subunits show different sides of the members. Should definitely check them out.

For One, i would suggest watching their SBS Gayo performance! its so good and powerful with an extended dance break Like others have mentioned, would love to see your thoughts on Astro's subunits - MoonBin Sanha (Bad Idea, Ghost Town (pre-release) and Who), MJ (Get Set Yo (trot style song)), JinJin Rocky (Just Breath) they are completely opposite from one another and also from Astro. Also the Just Breath dance practice is so much fun

ONE seemed to be their "we can be a regular boy group" song, and lots of people were divided on it, so it doesn't surprise me that you were on the "nah" side. After Midnight was the return to the sweetness and brightness we've had from them since debut. It felt like a mature version of even their debut. It was such a fun, bubbly time. My only concern about this group is that we're at the 7 year point with them in 2023, and there's speculation about continuing contracts. Fingers crossed, because they really are wonderful together, and are absolutely different in the idol industry. Can't wait for you to through the b-sides.

One is probably also one of my least favorite title tracks but Rocky’s rap part and dance break are fire. After Midnight came out right after One - they had hair color changes for it during promotions for One. The live version of One for the Gayo Daejeon that year is epic. Worth checking out for sure. Also Bin and Sanha are slated for comeback 1/4/23!
