This was extremely informative and I loved the diagrams and cartoons. I hope you make more like this!!!

I know nothing about viral vectors nor any biology really. Just stumbled across the word viral vector and youtubed it. and I am both astonished and greatful for how much science help humanity, and the heroes that dedicate their life to science and research to bring us these amasing treatments.

Which human tissue types are targeted by the covid vaccine vectors? What surface protein process is involved for the absorption? What percentage of host cell resources are diverted to covid? What happens to the host cell when the host cell begins to exhibit the covid spike protein?

All sound so easy when animated with an upbeat soundtrack, but in reality, all experiments have failed as the modification makes the immune system overreact (cytokine storm) when it comes in contact with wild viruses. The J&J vaccine/gene therapy might have the same issues as no long-term study has been conducted.

For Covid I took the J&J viral vector vaccine. The night after I took the vaccine, I got pretty severe chills, uncontrollable shaking, etc. What caused this? From the people I know who actually had Covid it sounds like my symptoms were the same as theirs, only mine lasted a far shorter amount of time.

The viral vector delivered DNA to your cell that programmed it to make the coronavirus spike protein, which triggered your immune system. In theory, your immune system will be able to fight the coronavirus more efficiently now, and you won’t get sick with Covid-19.
@r3n7363 жыл бұрын
@@PaulMcMinotaur That is false even when you are vaccinated you still can get sick, end up in the hospital, or die. It supposes to bring some protection yet is not 100%.
@PaulMcMinotaur3 жыл бұрын
@@r3n736 well... I said “in theory”. In actuality it takes years of testing and tweaking to make an effective vaccine.
@PaulMcMinotaur3 жыл бұрын
@@r3n736 which raises an interesting question. If this vaccine is delivering some sort of genetic information to your cell nucleus, but it doesn’t effectively protect against the virus... What DOES it do?
@r3n7363 жыл бұрын
@@PaulMcMinotaur You said it right there "In actuality, it takes years of testing and tweaking to make an effective vaccine." Which didn't happen on this occasion and was rushed into the market, not only that mRNA the method is also experimental.
