I would be a HUGE fan of that Magic: the Gathering conversation!! One of my favorite cards was a zombie card, mostly because of the flavor text: 'zombies mourn for the living and rejoice in those soon given the gift of death.' .. MTG drew me in because the art on their cards is so good!! And some of the flavor text, too. Though with all of that being said, I do really enjoy the "resident evil" style Chimera, honestly. Looks really cool and fits Raid's aesthetic very well.

Initially overwhelmed too. Power creep is real, and just wondering how live arena is gonna scale in terms of trying to know what your opponent has and how to counter it, when you throw a relic in and gem socket (ala Diablo gear style) to add extra mechanics to a fight that you have to adapt to and counter. I'm excited about it all, but wow. crazy complex. Great videos MTG and ASH. Nice work! Good to see y'all together again.

Two of my favorite CCs, awesome! Regarding Ash's point about maybe getting players to spend gems: Did you notice that about 3 weeks ago Plarium suddenly stopped offering the Gem Pack deal (4800 for $60)? There are no good gem deals since they did that.

Daily Gem Pack is still the best offering they've ever had imo. 2140 gems over a month at a steal of a price. Never bought gems any other way.

My only real complaint is the implementation of the Chimera Clash from the start. We need some time to get teams sorted out before it becomes competitive.

@danielm6871 There are no tiers in Hydra Clash. This Clash will work the same. All I'm saying is they should wait a month or 2 before they make it competitive.

LA is already horrid for most players, many don't bother as it is, adding restrictions to champions MUST be optional or you'll wipe out a ton more players that don't have champions to do it. And since they won't let you fall out of gold once you're there, you can't even drop to silver if you don't have champs for it, you just won't be able to participate.

Not sure that you will be able to play another mode while doing background multi-battles. They way he was talking about it sounded more like you can upgrade, swap gear, forge materials, and do anything that is admin around your account. could be wrong but that's how I understood it.

A BOUNTY BOARD would be awesome where you "turn in" "wanted" champions for variable rewards, or a nice chunk of silver since pretty early into the game most rares are just chickens

I am not sure what to think about live arena seasons as a FTP gamer. I hope we get a decent matchmaking with other FTPs or low spenders otherwise every season we will get farmed hard by whales which would IMO kill the excitement for live arena overall and thus reduce the number of players in that mode

So one thing I didn’t like about the new clan boss is that as you do these trials it gets harder so potentially what could happen is that you have your top players rush and hit it which would make it harder for lower clan members….what I think they should have done was just make the trials extra with out ramping up the difficulty that way everyone stays on equal field and these trails would just be bonus rewards…..but with out playing the mode it’s hard to tell so I guess we would just wait and see….also I don’t know how these insta battles are going to work in hydra with how much RNG there is in hydra and the fact that we are still going to have to manual are runs during hydra clash

I wonder if relics will vary a lot in stats. They boost base stats, but will this vary? Will the gemstone shapes be RNG, such as you get 2 of the same relic, but vary in gemstone shapes in them? Very interested in seeing people use these to make ok champs into OP champs. Will each gemstone shape be completely different from each other or will they have a tier system with maybe circle gemstones are low-end and hexagon be high-end? I hope this isn't the case. Just let each shape be its own thing and make us want a mix of shapes on each relic. I'd hate to want only hexagon shaped gemstone slots, for example. Where is the demon lord clash? Not that I actually want it, but I have my teams per affinity. They 1 key. They don't do crazy damage, BUT if they added in a demon lord clash, that would urge us to work on higher damage teams for that content. Example: Today my demon lord team did 102.78M damage, which is fine. Got top chest. Top in my clan however did 238.66M damage. Obviously more than double my damage, but I have no incentive to make a new team, since I already get top chest. Speaking of Skeletor; forget which content creator said it, might have been Nubs...? Anyway, someone mentioned Skeletor's kit will possibly be the go-to for arena vs bomb champ teams. Which I still don't think his kit is very Skeletor-like. He needed more. Most of all, why does his ACC in all battles aura so low? His aura is that of an epic being at 60. Drexthar is higher. Mithrala is higher. Most ACC aura champs are higher, I think.

At first I got fragments of the Hydra Leggo. It has been 3 rotations in a row; and no fragments. We do place in top 3. Does a clan have to place 1st to get the fragments? 😢😂

Yet they didn't fix tag team arena to increase cap on gold tiers to open it up for 80% of the player base stuck at S4, or remove the G1 mission to allow for actual mission progression in game. Fix the simple stuff.

Lame patch. I said my future in Raid was dependent on the new rewards from the clan boss, and this misses the mark by a mile. I want to be able to get fun champions. I want to be able to use them. Without that, all content is pointless, and this new boss doesn't improve either. No void shards, no primal shards, no soul stones, no essence. That's all I wanted from Cursed City last year, and there was nothing (1 mortal stone and some coins)and I had high hope for a clan boss that dropped primal and void shards and soul stones, so I am disappointed. I can't see me lasting another 6 months in Raid, I really can't. The only thing keeping me playing now is the fusions.

Qualität of life is always good but i think its to little. All the new Stuff is eating more time then the small qol changes give us. I dont play live Arena because after 2 Hours of completing everything else i dont have the time or Energy to waste even more time in live Arena. Background battles ok cool but why do i even have to run them? Let me skip all useless stuff, dungeon, potion, campaign, mino and my tim could go in to the newer stuff.

This happened with 7knights, it happened with Brave Frontier, it happened with Star Wars GOH..... they make the game so complicated that the casual player says screw it, this feels too much like work, and when they are relaxing and gaming, the last thing they want to do is work. Gonna turn a bunch of people off of the game.

I would have liked if Plarium would have introduced the Clash later. Like a month or two in. so that we con get used to the Chimere first on our own. I hope the Chimera will not be daylie. Weekly will be enough.
