One of the best audiobooks / podcasts i have ever listened to is a zombie survival called We're Alive a story of survival. Wonderful story telling, awesome characters and alot of content. Its in the style of old-time radio but modern so you can hear someone walking beside you or a vehicle approaching. It definitely is a work of art and worth a listen.

As a side note, a surprisingly interesting combo that I've been playing around with.. UDK and Reinbeast. Bringing back an old school champ. UDK is already a pain in the ass. Reinbeast makes sure he has a shield up every round. I'm not sure how good it is yet b/c UDK only absorbs the first hit but it's been very interesting. Got me through the Doom Tower secret room for defense force champs.

I've been reading to my boys the "Dragon Masters" series (20+ books so lot's of them to read) by Tracey West. Chapter books as well, easy to read and a few illustrations too. Some of the books they've had me read 3+ times lol. Thanks for the arena building tips, I'm having an impossible time getting to G1 in 3v3.

The Song of the Shattered Sands #1 Twelve Kings in Sharakhai Bradley P. Beaulieu Amazing fantasy type series, really immersive and pretty different from the standard dragons and elves stuff, though I love that too. Really good read, haven't tried the audio books but the story is fantastic.

Had me rawing in laugher at the intro . Most recent audio books I've listened to are: 1984 by George Orwell, extremely dark, but scarily real. The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, again, quite deep but very interesting for learning things' sake. On a lighter note, last year I listened to all the Sherlock Holmes books, most of them were fantastic for my sloth of a brain to hear.

on books, your son seems to be too young for it for now, but i remember loving the Bartimaeus Trilogy of books that i read when i was like 10-12 The Hobbit book is obviously a great one suitable for age 7-8 or so, (assuming it's read aloud, a bit older for solo reading) for anything younger than that though i unfortunately can't help as i don't have kids yet and that's as far back as i remember. The Brothers Lionheart is another classic that i remember loving as a kid, albeit again, more suitable for ages 8+ read aloud, 10+ solo reading, as it does in fact deal with the concepts of death and mortal danger on several occasions, it's a very sobering tale for kids, as it helps bring such concepts as mortality and negative emotions into a kid-friendly and much more digestable context.

Great content wish I could see more content for the doom tower,Iron twins and sand devil for free to play players end game content without having any legendary artifacts for the solo players out there that don't have the best champions from shard pulls can't wait to see more free to play content for the real gamers out there and less pay to win in the future great content keep it up

13 Days of Terror (I can't remember who wrote it and my copy is amongst the missing atm). It's a NF book about shark attacks in New Jersey that Jaws is VERY LOOSELY based on and gives you some history about shark attacks in general. Because winter is almost over...and that means summer is close...and you know..maybe you don't want to get eaten by a shark.OH! And Hulu is putting out a movie (series? I'm actually not sure) about the Boston Strangler on the 18th; it looks REALLY good.

I can recommend the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. Very good read/listen that got even people I had not expected to be hyped about reading devouring the novels at SPEED. it's 9 books and they are very good, alternate Napoleonic War but with DRAGONS.

You should try reading "Swan's Song," by Robert Mcammon. Great fiction novel about a nuclear Holocaust, and what happens afterwards... Really a very special book.

Listen to the Wheel of Time series ash! It’s a massive series but so so good. I read the books as a kid but I just finished all the audio books and started listening to it again immediately upon finishing so I can try to catch all the foreshadowing.

If you're looking for some sci-fi/fantasy (with a lot of grimdark elements and ...even more humor) The Infinite and the Divine, a Warhammer 40k book (you needn't have read any previous book to get into it) it's prolly the single best book I've read in the past 4-5 years.
