Thanks for the tips. Noticed something I completely missed. I didn’t know you could stack the bonuses from the sets. Like example 2 set buff for speed would 2x with 4 pieces and so on. Thank you.

For champs like Genbo who self buff with crit hit only 75% crit rate is needed. I use speed boots + attack% gloves + attack% chest on my Genbo. He's fast and hits like a truck 😁😁 BTW nice video - it never clicked me to farm campaign for speed gear untill now 👍

@ajitarora-5215 That's great! However, switch those ATK% gloves to Crit. Damage gloves on your Genbo when you can. Then he'll do even more damage than he does with ATK% gloves. That why you don't need ATK% gloves. They aren't useless, but they are never the goal, except for bomb champions. Thanks for the comment!

This is great! The information you provide here has given me the confidence to build and gear a "proper" arena team. I've been avoiding it because I didn't want to waste resources... I settled on: -Lady Kimi (speed boost + buff strip) -Umbral Enchantress (2 turn provoke) -Dracomorph (defense down + weaken) -Sun Wukon (speed aura + damage) It's been working really well. Thanks for these detailed videos that equip players to progress in Raid!

​@@ColredPlaysRSL I was able to finish the week in low gold 5 @ 89% win rate. Umbral has been fun, however there are some problematic enemies. Tormin and A1 buff strippers. I've been able to troll live arena with Umbral at 6star lvl 1, she never gets banned. I throw in Mithrala and she gets banned. Then I use my regular team. Thanks for the great guides!

The thing about looking at the stats and not the ability you're bringing the champ for spoke to me. This whole series has been a delight. I went through and looked at a couple of supports and made a handful of changes. So far, doing great already!

@@ColredPlaysRSL the thing about not throwing out SPD boots and such was also nice. It's a small thing, but it helps with a lot of things I've wondered about. Also the explanations for things like damage and nukers is huge. I spent a wild amount of time saving ATK% items because I was like "oh, it's an attack champion, so surely these would be a good idea." Alas no.

Lifesteal on Sun Wukong makes no sense to me. It keeps him alive, but if he's killed he just comes right back. He's so much better with Dmg, Acc, or even Provoke, because the enemy wastes their shots on him and he just pops back up again. Lifesteal wastes what makes him Sun Wukong.

so i have a decent amount of champs with mainly if not all 6* gear but still only 35k power max. fully master worked and a awakened star or two. a power level guide would be cool if thats a thing. thanks for the help!

@wintiefresh1741 I'm not sure what you mean. You have 35k as a team power? Or your top champions have 35k power individually? If your champions have 35k power individually, that's totally normal. In general, the power number is essentially useless as a measure of anything meaningful. You can use it as one of several data points in arena to help guide your targets on offense, but that's about it.

@jamesparker9914 Thanks! I don't think I'm one of the nominees for the awards. I'm not part of the CC program, unfortunately. As for Raz, I'm not sure. I think it depends on where you're going to use him. You certainly want him fast. Probably 100% crit rate. You only need ACC if you want to land his leech. I hope that helps.

I’m 2 weeks in and got my kael to 60 should I start looking for gear or should I just focus most of my energy on food and upgrading my other rare/epic to 50 really liking the game so I’m not in a rush just curious since I only got 103 energy

@lalo8555 You should be doing both. Ultimately, getting your first five 6-stars is key to unlocking the dungeons and farming better gear. In the meantime, make sure you're grinding the faction crypts for forge materials. Perception and Resilience gear are highly valuable at this point in the game (and Perception stays that way). Hey man. Att gloves is for bomb champs. The more att you have on them the better damage you get out the boms. I'm also lucky to use att gloves in a few champs that I already have enough cr rate and damage as subs on other artifacts just to use the gloves for my main income of att. It all depends on your substats of gear you have

@jpsolms1648 Yes on bomb champs, but since you'll probably only ever build maybe 2 or 3 bomb champs, I felt that discussion would just muddy the waters. However, to your second point, you're better off with Crit. Damage gloves than ATK% gloves if you already have enough Crit. Rate. You'll get a decent chunk of extra damage that way.

Great video. Subscribed. One question though... I played in the beginning for several months, without knowing exactly what I was doing... Now I'm getting back and I'm a bit afraid I am in a weird spot with my account. On one side I have some legendary and epics, and even some cool sets of gear, but at another I feel I didn't build these champions well and it might cost me too much to remove the gear and start again. Should I start a new account?

@PicMus Hey, thanks for the sub! As for your question, I would say no. It may take you a little while to grind the silver to regear your champions, but that's fine. It's still better to have some good champions. Just invest some energy over the next few weeks in good silver return activies like dungeons. Maybe use up some of your weaker forge materials to get some cheap silver that way. Then focus on rebuilding one or two champions at a time. In a month or two, you'll forget you even had them built wrong, and all the new progress will feel way better than grinding all the way back up from level 1. Good luck!

I know I'm coming in late but I am a bit confused about the speed boots.. when you say mainstat speed are we talking about the first stat ? For example a set is two artifacts for speed, so we have to have 2 artifacts on our champion or more depending.. I'm playing on nightmare stage 6 palace of aravia.. your saying I want boots with speed as the first Stat? I just wanna get this right because I know it's my builds that is hurting me. I'm level 57 and just kinda stuck in the middle.... thanks man greatly... Virgil

@virgilnelson9610 When you click on any item in your inventory, the description window pops up. Up top is the name of the set. Right under that, there is an icon for the item (picture of a boot, say). To the right of that icon are 3 pieces of information: name of item (boot), rarity of item (rare, epic, etc), and a stat (ATK%, Speed, etc). THAT stat is the "main stat" of the item. Under the icon may be additional stats. Those are the "substats." I hope that answers your question.👍

Go for your Athel, Wukong is harder to fully book unless you purchase books with money so you'll get a bit more early game mileage out of Athel

i watched your video on building a nuker immediately before this one and there you say something significantly different. atk % boots for genbo, for instance. this would be a contradiction.

@mardenhill I'd be surprised if I contradicted myself. I haven't changed my gearing philosophy in well over a year. 90-95% of your champions should be in speed boots. Genbo is an arena nuker - that is one of the roles that's an exception. But you still need to be speed tuned no matter the boots you chose. Thanks for the comment!

@retracer77 I'm sorry to hear that. There are a lot of sources of gear, so make sure you're hitting them all. The forge can be a really great place to get gear, even early on, but you need to be completing faction crypts every day. Also, don't forget to use campaign to fill in set pieces if you need to.
