No idea why, but this got posted elsewhere for some reason. Oh well, here goes. That was truly incredible! From Ash being reminded that he's the people's champion, to the Sycamores talking before the battle, to the battle itself, it's all so good. And that final round was perfect. I'm glad that Greninja got to win against Charizard in a normal battle, and Alain accepted his loss with grace, knowing that he was able to give it his all as himself, and that regardless of whether he won or not, he's truly free from Team Flare. I'm super excited for the Masters 8 arc, and I can't wait to see what comes next. Bravo!

Well, this was quite a banker of a return Ash get to reunite with his Alola Family even himself his adorable Baby Brother despite being blood related also great to see the best Boy Dusk Lycanroc who is honestly better than Lucario and I would die in the hell although Ash vs Gladion rematch was pretty cool but I did feel like that his Lycanroc should’ve won this battle sense Ash is the Champion and for the People who hate the sun and moon anime other than you rewrite this was a great first. Impression as for the battle between Ash and Alain this was a cool battle this was the first battle that Ash doesn’t use one of his Journeysmon and I do know that Ash has battle bond with his Greninja but Ash didn’t even use a gimmick he could use the steel Z-moves with his Melmetal although I would’ve preferred it if he G-max instead since Galar representation speaking of Greninja it was great to see him again that battle between Ash Greninja and Mega Charizard Y was flames no pun intended that Alain got a new keystone for his Charizard to distance hisself from his dark past and as for the Champions Lance for Kanto and Johto Steven Stone for Hoenn Cynthia for Sinnoh Iris for Unova Diantha for Kalos Ash Ketchum for Alola Leon and Raihan for Galar this really hype and I do hope that Greninja and his Alola Team participate in though Masters8th

Man, I got some catching up to do with some of the rewrites, especially in regards to Alain’s story/journey. But at the same time, I absolutely loved his rematch with Ash in this Journey! Also, can I just say? I love how many father/son reunions we got these past few episodes alone! Kukui reunited with Ash, Professor Sycamore with Alain, Brandon with Paul, if I’m missing any, I’ll have to double check. But overall, lots of great reunions! I actually liked some of the reunions in Journeys, but THESE are better.
