This series is groundbreaking in format: 10 half-hour shows comprising one season that run together to create a nearly 5 hour film while being unrated. It's perfect. There's no filler, all fun while exploring these wonderful characters. All these other shows waste so much time having to reset introductions every episode and stretching things out to fulfill these outrageous episode numbers thus creating all this filler that was unnecessary. It's amazing what you can do with a truly serial series that is essentially a nice big film. Short seasons, short episodes, and run together its perfection that makes every moment count. The fact that I can spend one night watching one season with this series (as opposed to other series where I gotta take a freaking week to get through one season) is bliss. I never thought I'd say that or be against longer storytelling, but I guess as I get older and realize that long-form storytelling can be more precise and less BS. You can convey so much through refined execution. And time is precious, it should be treated as such (making every moment count). And for that revolutionary series to be a continuation of The Evil Dead starring Ash is a dream.

Starz lost a lot of money due to pirate download in Asia - which turned into boothleg DVD's and lost subs! Third season was a actually a fan succes! Fourth season would have been green lit and ready to go if not for the pirate downloads and the expectation of further loss🤬 Pirate download also killed off Expendabels 4 - and now the guys really are to old for a 4 or a Stallone/ Arnie remake... Edit: Bruce vs. Evil Death is now on Netflix (in Europe at least). That's money in the bank and since Netflix has had some gory shows lately - so just maybe🤞🙂

@@doriangray_1999 First off Expendables 3 made 274 million on a 80 million dollar budget, Expendables 4 is in production, in post or getting ready for production. Starz lost due to wanting 14$ a month, who the hell wants to pay 168$ USD a year to watch one good show that only runs a couple months a year? I'd rather give Sam and the cast 500$ a year direct. Starz wasn't big enough to handle the show, AVED should have been picked up by HBO or Amazon.

Ash vs Evil Dead really has a wonderful cast of characters and actors. Its one of the reasons why I absolutely love it. Bruce Campbell is fantastic, as is Lucy lawless. I so wish I could meet them all on set and act like a total idiot because I'm so ecstatic. Bruce is the kinda guy I want to have a beer with and just hang out with. But I know that watching Ash vs Evil Dead is the closest that I will ever get, and I'm fine with that.

Who here think it would be cool to have a Sequal to "They Call me Bruce" Where Bruce Campbell pisses off an obsessed fanboy and the kid gets revenge by tricking Bruce into Signing a Real Necronamicon in Real lambs blood! Then The Evil Dead becomes real and the kids whole family, as well as the whole comicon gets Turned into Deadites! With the exception of the Kid, Bruce, The Cast of Ash Vs the Evil Dead, and some creepy/hot goth chick who's obsessed with The Occult and Secretly also obsessed with The Golden Girls!
