Golisopod almost defeated Pikachu twice actually. First time Guzma declared forfeit when Golisopod used its ability to return to its pokeball even though Pikachu was badly poisoned.

Torracat was such a menace in this battle, even though he lost, he still put much better fight against OP Golisopod than Pikachu before the league, and Torracat had type disadvantage here, he maybe even won the battle if emergency exit didn't helped Golisopod escaping from Fire blast

It seems to me that Guzma with his feisty character and personality would be a great antagonist and head of an evil organization if, like the previous parts of the team had evil plans for the region of Allola . Unfortunately for me Guzma is a wasted potential and it's a shame ( I would see Team Skull as an organization that has no regard for the beauty of nature and their goal would be to pollute the region for money )
