Lydia has a… problem. Let’s not slide past that lol. I know Uche is a textbook sociopath. But Lydia is emotionally unstable and I think she did follow Uche to that show. But Uche still ain’t shit. You can tell he really broke Lydia and there might’ve been a slight obsession on both sides.

In my opinion, this season has been the most eye opener of all, once you’re on your self love and inner work journey it’s easier to pinpoint out the different personalities, the toxicity, and who is stuck in their ways as adult. I do believe the show edited so strategically to make situations and people portrayed in a certain way as they do all of them. In my opinion again before ppl do this show they should truly work on self. Chris and Milton were my fav.

1. Aaliyah disappointed me by still wanting to be with Uche after he showed his behind. 2. I feel like Lydia did come off as very desperate, like she’ll fall apart if she doesn’t get validated by a man/marriage. 3. I don’t like how they made Stacey look like some gold digger because she wanted financial transparency and provision from a man she’s dating and was about to marry.

Yes that was supper disappointing on Aliyah’s behalf I agree Lydia’s portrayal on the show was not the best And Stacys portrayal as just completely inaccurate and ridiculous whatever they were trying todo she is not in the wrong or a gold digger for wanting financial security!

I feel like people meant that Aaliyah's experience was robbed because two people who knew each other were in the pods instead of strangers like the other seasons. But then again this show has difficulty finding quality men that are open to dating BW, so the likelihood that a worthy man would have been there in Uche's place is low. I'm happy she found a good relationship.

I think Aaliyah is kind of a “victim” of Lydia’s weirdness but not like in the overall experience or with Uche. Things weren’t gonna work out anyways because Uche just wasn’t her person, but i think it’s super weird that Lydia befriended Aaliyah and grew close with her in the pods knowing that Aaliyah and Uche were liking each other. I just think being buddy buddy with your ex’s new love interest is weirdddddd. They were literally talking about being aunts to each others children before the news about Lydia and Uche’s past came out. Maybe the editing made them look more friendly than they were just for the plot but it was weird and Aaliyah just dodged a bullet with things not working out with Uche and with her friendship with Lydia not working out.

The editing makes so much look strange but I think that’s what the editor wanted. They wanted things to be depicted a certain way. Also the show is manufactured to make people feel closer to people because omgosh wait till Stacy and I podcast episode comes out and you realize the duration of how they fell in love!

I LOOVE that another woman was team Stacy ESPECIALLY a black woman. It was hard to see other women boo Stacy and root on Johnie … twilight zone! Even though Aaliyah was edited as desperate she continued to try it with Uche outside of the show-that’s where she lost me.
