Excuse me, she committed no offense to me, she would have felt more depressed if the lady had died knowing she shd have done something and refused to do it, and the lady that want to die in suffering please leave her to continue, which marriage is she protecting, the one that she gets beaten everytime, or is it not few months ago a nurse was beaten to death by her husband in that same UK, mtchew

The woman that was beaten is the one that can mend the case.she should go the police, report what happened officially by her self and maybe find a way to let them know she can and is willing to handle what has happened. As for the friend who reported, even though she was too forward ,she has a shone light in darkness may eventually kill her friend.

She has genius concerns but should have known her boundaries, she should have known that police matters don't end here.

They already raised safeguarding issues, the their name already I n the file, so safeguarding is being valued here in the UK, it can tarnish your name, because that violence already in police file::they will put a red flag that this house is violence. Even if they close the case, it's disadvantage in many ways even in future, even for instance when applying documents e.g visa residence permits etc might adversely affect your image.

First of all, the lady who called the cops did not commit sin. The lady who was being abused know the consequences of calling cops for domestic dispute. That's why she did not call the cops. She suppose not to call the cops, she supposed to only listen and comfort her. First of all, the record is going to remain with the cops. Here in US, if the said lady refuse to press charges on her husband. The cops will drop the charge, but it will be on record forever and they will warn the man. Situation like that can prevent the man from getting her immigration papers. Also, can prevent the man from getting any job that involves working with women.

She did nothing wrong. She may have saved her neighbour's life. Isn't this a safeguarding issue? Look at what the son is witnessing. Sadly, this is common among women who are victims of domestic violence. My advice, just pray for strength and focus on your family. Your husband will eventually come to his senses

I think the man’s wife should get advice from a lawyer…. And as this is the fish time he is being reported, she the wife can close the case … but the man should know that he is going to be forever watched … she he needs to change

No one is above mistake, but she should continue to ask for forgiveness from her friend and her husband. With time they will forgive her and as for the violent husband, I hope he repents and be allowed to reunite with his family.

When in Rome do as the romans do. The UK has rules that must be followed. It is really sad that this kind of abuse should happen to anyone and let alone, the person who tries to help gets backlash. That man should not have laid a hand on his wife not when he knows how seriously abuse is frowned upon here. I agree with you, she needs to get down on her knees and pray. The problem is, if one day he killed her (God forbid) we would be blaming the same lady for not calling the police when she had a chance. This is a tough one 🙆🏽♀️ I wish all the parties well. If she believes deep down in her heart she was right, then she should take heart and know it is well❤ This too shall pass.

She might have done the right thing to report but she would have asked the victim if it would be okay to report or not. Also, she interfered with another's marriage. Though, the victim is in a very toxic marriage, which if possible, she should do something because she will be killed. But minding your own business should have been the position of the concerned individual because you don't get too far like that. However, the police have to do their job. Sad 😔

If she was still in her home country, would she have called the police. It was very wrong to have taking that step without getting permission from the victim. Now she has destroyed her friends marriage, and it shows that she can also call d cops on her own husband cos she has this UK woman power mentality.
