If you do a road trip through Southwest and/or Rocky Mountain States, and/or the PNW states, you will for sure not be disappointed! It is the crem de le crem of outdoors in the US in my opinion. Alaska/ Hawaii is always an outstanding outdoors destination too but maybe harder to get to.

Yes. I've met quite a few foreigners when I've been to Yosemite over the years. I always make sure I help them if they're confused about getting somewhere. I feel like it's an obligation so that no foreign visitor can tell their friends back in their home country that Americans aren't friendly or helpful.

I've watched a number of videos of people visiting the US for the first time but yours was done in a way that had me choked up the entire time. I live in the US but haven't visited a lot of places in a touristy manner. I've been to Philadelphia many times and NYC quite a few but haven't done a lot of sight seeing and now I'm seeing how much I've missed. You made me see my own country through new eyes and I really really appreciate that. I hope to see videos of you going many more places so that I can live vicariously through you. I'm shocked your video doesn't have 100x the likes and comments, it's so well done. Great work.

It's always nice to see some folks visiting and enjoying their time here in the grand ol' US of A! ☺ If you ever come back and want to see more nature, I would recommend visiting the Appalachian Mountain Range. If you want to visit a more tourist-y area within the mountain range, then I would recommend the Great Smokey Mountains National Park - there are hiking trails and plenty of sightseeing there. But if you want to see a less visited area within the mountain range, then I would recommend visiting the state of West Virginia - you can visit the New River Gorge National Park, and there are a lot of other state parks there too!

Next trip come in the summer time. From July to August the water temperature is perfect for swimming on the east coast from the mid Atlantic states south to Florida. If you like the mountains, take a trip out to the Rockies in Colorado. Better yet, the Cascades in Washington State. The Cascades are greener and there is LITERALLY a waterfall every 10 minutes because of all the precipitation they get most of the yr. Late June to August it's perfect for camping there because it's dryer than the rest of the year. California is a mess right now so if you're going to go there you had better be careful which cities you visit. Same is true for Portland and Seattle but if you want to see the Cascade mountains you can always fly into Spokaine instead of Seattle and drive west to the Cascades.

Ive never been to New York City, but one city that my husband and I really love is Washington D.C. We’ve visited Washington 8 times. Tourists never run out of places to see. With the museums, monuments, restaurants and shopping, you could go multiple times and never run out of wonderful sights. The city is its most beautiful at night. There are no skyscrapers in D.C. by design. The capitol buildings are mostly white marble and practically glow from sunset to dawn. Usually the first place we head to after checking into our hotel is the home of Marjorie Merryweather Post. Her breathtaking home Hillwood, is a short cab ride. We have lunch in the cafe, then take the tour. This was her home residence, but would winter in her Florida estate Mar a Lago. We never run out of beautiful restaurants to dine in since it seems there is always a high turnover of openings and closings. One of our favorites which is no longer there was Mrs. Simpsons. The entire dining room was decorated with memorabilia of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. One of our favorite places to unwind after a long day of sight seeing is the wonderful Round Robin Bar in the famous Willard Hotel. We visited there so many times that the bartender always remembered us and automatically made our favorite drinks without asking as we seated ourselves in our favorite window. Over the past several years I’ve had cancer a few times and I don’t think we’ll be making it back to Washington anytime soon. Watching videos of it here always brings back wonderful memories.
