I love that she knew what she wanted! I also love the patience of y’all! My daughter is 4, almost 5 and wants colored extensions but I have no idea how to braid hair in. I can braid over and under but I suppose with more practice and tutorials I’ll manage. I did teach myself how to bead her hair & she loves it. She is half ‘white’ and Mexican and when she went to school(daycare) with the beaded braids one of the teachers said ‘oh it’s cute but I don’t see many parents doing hair like that anymore’ mind you- I’m white so I took that as my kid is supposed to have a certain type of hair style. SMH 🤦‍♀️ Nope. My parents taught us not to separate human beings by the color of our skin, and my kids are taught the same. I want them to appreciate everyone for who they are. Her hair came out awesome and I’m hoping to learn how to braid in extensions for my baby’s hair ❤️ thank you for sharing!
