Grade 3 from one bottle is WILD! Even though I’ve got thousands of hours, I’ve always appreciated how thorough your guides are, making them accessible for all players, regardless of experience level. Being a swabbie nowadays has gotta be tough, with the amount of content thrown at you, with almost none of it explained. It’s great that resources like these guides exist to lend a helping hand.

Love the content, great information as always. I noticed your game didn't crash when you try to view the special events tab, just want to note, if your game is crashing when you try to open the events tab, just avoid opening that tab to prevent the crash, complete the number of quests to unlock the sword and check your armory box to confirm you completed and unlocked it. Hope this helps with anyone having repeated crashes like i was. Happy sailing!

One of our more interesting stories was when we did 2 Back to Back Ashen Vault voyages and came back barely holding the ship together due to unlucky timing with volcanoes and fire eating our wood like crazy.

Which emissary is the best to run?

Guild or Reaper since the loot is random and can be for any Trading Company. Or just run Voyages for the Trading Company of your choice in The Devil's Roar and use the bottles to boost your Emissary Grade.

Does this apply to all trading company emissaries? Also, I can't quite make out part of the sentence after he says this. "Picking up _________ will allow you to reach Emissary Grade 5." Could someone please help me fill in that blank?

You just need to pick up four to reach Grade 5 and it works for any Trading Company Emissary.

me and my friend were doing hourglass and we dove on these two dudes in the Roar, not only did it catch them off-guard, but when we sailed out to try and get an angle on them, we look back and see their entire ship on fire with their mast down, apparently a volcano nearby was active lol. (We won that match)

Hmm, Merchant or Gold Hoarder? The loot is random, so it’s really hard to say. However we dug up a lot of crates and chests over the past three hours. Athena is the rarest so you’ll have a hard time taking advantage of the Emissary Grade boost you get each time you find a bottle.

Guild or reaper in my opinion. Guild is better if you want rep for the main companies but reaper is better for gold. Guild is also a lot less risky.

From what I’ve tried so far, grade 5 gold hoarders with the event boosts makes ashen captain vaults worth just short of 200,000 gold. This is made much easier with three volcanoes not being active as that was one of the main deterrences for Ashen vaults. Stack a few of those and you should make a pretty penny.

Yeah, they do seem rarer than the Legendary Messages in Bottles. Try changing servers? That usually helped us find some. Good luck!

Nice, looks like just one session to finish the event, unless you want to grind more to see how good the loot is. Hard to imagine it being more efficient than Skeleton Camps at high grade Order of Souls, though!

Yeah, depends on how lucky you get with the spawns. Some people are finding multiple per island, but then others can’t find one for hours.

I get what you're saying, but it would be incredibly annoying spending a large amount of time there for the voyages if you were constantly getting your eardrums blasted out by volcano noises

It seems like a good way to entice people in who wouldn’t normally due to it’s difficulty. The region for us at least has been hopping! While the volcanos are no longer a threat, there are a lot more ships in the region to make up for it.
