I had one of these back in high school. There were about 2,500 students at that school, and to my knowledge, one other kid had one. We messaged each other a couple times when I first got it along the lines of "Hey you have a Cybiko too!" Then we never communicated again. I think that pretty well sums up the Cybiko experience.

It's not true 3D actually. True 3D is like a polygonal world. What you are seeing here is basically like a game that appears 3D, but is actually sprite based, often in the game industry these are called 2.5D games. The first to achieve this were Japanese games from the 80's. Again, pretty sure this Russian calculator things isn't truly running an actual polygonal 3D environment, which would mean it isn't by definition truly 3D.

I had one of these Xtreme units, as did my sister at the time. One thing you could do with them was plug one in to the PC and have it act as an internet gateway for nearby devices. They were also capable of communicating much further than 300M, as long as there were active devices within range along the way (like a daisy chain) so you could talk to someone miles away in theory if everyone in town had one (which they didn't obviously), As usual, around this time was the arrival of Mobile phones and bluetooth (which took off in 2001), The poor thing never stood a chance.

Although very few of my friends who received a free Cybiko ever used the system, I did have a few friends who played multiplayer wireless games on the Cybiko with me. Cybiko hit their stride after the release of the 1Mb Memory Add-on but they didn't last long after that. The end was near by the time the Cybiko Xtreme was released. Goodness gracious... Here in the United States, we had a couple of knick-knacky devices in the same vein as these. I myself had gotten my hands on a unit back in the early 2000's, and it was supposed to let you text via AOL Instant Messenger (as well as MIRC somehow), use wireless networks, etcetera. It was about $250, but I rarely made large purchases AND the Internet-provider service model in my area had changed from an HOURLY rate over to the "way of the future" MONTHLY rate -and like hell I wasn't going to be online 24/7 after that. So needless to say, I was totally stoked when I got the thing. I wasn't nearly as stoked after going over the manual for the sixth time trying to get the thing to work, and at about the twenty-fifth I was going for my car keys to return the damned thing before the Radio Shack closed. Good times.

I do....literally every night. Probably because you can legitimately only watch 7 videos and get through 7 hours even though each standard review on the biggest list I could find is at least 10:00 long.

Blue cybiko was on wrong channel, it sent to General, which could be picked up by silver with general -Plootool(whatever), but silver sends to General - Plootloot(or whatever it was). You could select right channel from top down menu which says "All". I know it's too late, but anyway =D

18:59- Wow, the Rebel Alliance must really be cutting their budget if they have to train people to become pilots by making them hold a freaking boat race.

Literally my entire family (except me, because I was a baby) had a Cybiko. I still have my sisters purple/pink one, and my dad's Xtreme

The tech I had in the year 2000, I had a Toshiba laptop, ok it was rather heavy and bulky, but It fit perfectly in my DJ bag I used for Uni, a half decent HP Desktop at my Uni digs, both running Windows 98, a Nokia 7110 Matrix phone, Rio MP3 ( Napster, you know it) and a Palm pilot, the Palm 3. Wow, how upto date was i. I just can't believe this is year 2000 tech Considering that the mobile phone and PDA I had at the time where both functional and surprisingly useful, I actually had the little keyboard for my palm pilot and took down class notes and afterwards while having a coffee i would simply pair it with my phone and Email it to myself, the infrared file transfer was a bit tricky but 9 times out of 10 it worked, if it didn't work, I'd just dig out the laptop and serial cable and transfer the notes that way (I actually preferred the palm-pilot to a laptop while taking notes due to the room I had in the lecture hall, especially if I had my Folder and book where also on the table, the palm was perfect for the tasks I gave it,). I thought it was fantastic tech at the time. This Cybiko looks more like early 90's tech and even then, I would have preferred the original Gameboy.

Look at the first Cybiko closely; it has a button with the Zodiac killer. It probably will show every letter he sent to the newspapers and that. Also, with the right key combination, it might even finally reveal who was the Zodiac killer...
