Yep for sure. I was not lonley when I met someone like this just because he was nice and treated me well I was hooked. Nothing to do with being lonley in my experience.

I loved this show, I couldn't stop, and I also think that Asher Keddie must be one of the best actresses I had the pleasure to watch. What a brilliant performance!

I don't watch movies, have watched probably fifty ever ..unless it gets me , I do something else... Started watching, didn't stop ,over 5 hours straight , awesome...best movie since " the Boys"

First time i saw Wenham was in Gettin' Square where he was an unappealing character with some funny lines. He was also funny and good in the horror spoof "van Helsing" (with Hugh Jackman). And more

Meh, no real ending except yay I wrote an article...which didn't faze him a bit.....fizzed out at the home stretch...

@@bronwynleeper2806 I hear that, it definitely was an emotional rollercoaster, also best acting of Asher's career. If the series is just about Birdie's emotional turmoil/abuse, then yes.... but there was no plot per se.... just 8 episodes of a grift and a victim, played out in slo mo .... Asher Keddie can do no wrong though, actingwise. Same for David W...

@@ns2110theonlyI found the book fascinating- because she explained so well how one can fall down the rabbit hole, see, and get out- so there was a story line- of getting in step by step And so on.

In my experience it was nothing to do with lonleyness being attracted to someone like this. He was nice and treated me well as oposed to other relationships i had. I was quite happy being alone. I was just conned by someone i thought was nice. Do not class lonley people as vunerable thisbis degrading. Typical 10.
