I think this was a great plot twist on who killed Asher because no one expected it. The FBI doing anything to bring down Annalise by killing their informant and make everyone testify against her makes perfect sense. Everyone expected Asher's sister, Laurel or even Wes. The fact that the show manages to still surprise us in it's 6th season shows what an amazing show HTGAWM is. God, I'm gonna miss these twists and turns so damn much!

Then again, the writters always have a twist up their sleeve (which in this case I think is Wes being alive), but who knows? She could've faked her death. (Please nobody spoil).

Wes was extremely stubborn - That is his huge weakness and the ultimate downfall leading to his death, a la Antigone in the great Greek tragics. Asher was always getting in everyone's business, never knew when to be silent which is why he knew taking down everyone else would be best for him - he can't keep a secret very well and has such dark ones himself (killing Sinclair). Laurel was always smart, always quiet at the right times, knowing her father is evil but smart enough to use him towards his advantage when need be. And with Laurel always being watched by her criminally insane family, nobody could ever get close enough to her to kill her. Teegan helped hide Laurel - oh and how again did Laurel first get connected to Teegan? (Hint: NOT Annalise). Michaela is the most like Annalise, even though Annalise loved loved Wes. Michaela would ALWAYS have been Annalise's succesor if not for all of them having to run away from it all (Annalise even used Michaela once to help get on the good side of the crazy twins). Connor, although always depressed and quite sociopathic, was always a step ahead of everyone. He knew his boyfriend/husband served a great use in his safety with his hack skills etc. Connor never meant any harm, he was just extremely sad deep down inside causing him to lash out every so often. ("All your children are dead" to Annalise) In the end, Connor is rewarded for his continued attempt to become a better person (trying to save the undocumented immigrant children) and his consistent ability to see the bigger picture leads to his survival.

When the REAL killer was revealed and Gabriel went to snitch that it was Laurel, I was so irritated! But when the the FBI Agent guy said “this is special agent Pollock....”, I had a feeling it was Asher’s killer! And of course, they pan to her short ass and there she was lol. Theory listed below😊 Asher trusted the FBI so much that he was willing to sell out his friends or what he thought as : trying to help them ...in the end. It sucks he died cause he was actually decent. but I wonder what Michaela's dad is truly up to. He has to have ulterior motives. Is he working with Jorge Castillo somehow? He is very interested in becoming even richer and setting up Michaela with a rich lifestyle too. I wonder who he is connected to seriously. Just like Jorge suggested to Laurel when he met up with her. He is a lawyer turned businessman. Maybe he + castillos had ordered this hit on Asher to take down Keating. He does have some sort of history with Keating apparently. Maybe she screwed him over in the past. He could be a psychopath for all we know. Obviously he is playing both sides. He helped Annalise Flee by connecting her to VP....remember that. Annalise had good guts to not run into that woman in a strange car. They probably were Castillos people. Michaela is dumb to run to him but maybe she is using him to get her out and solve this whole thing on her own. Idk my two cents. I love this show and I cannot believe it is ending. That would solidify my theory. I think Michaela's father is either a missing link ot minor player in this whole thing. He must have some sort of vendetta against Annalise to turn on her and tell michaela to take an immunity deal?! Thats so so shady of him. He was lawyering her up and convincing her to think about herself and not some "white boy." That white boy happens to be gay and someone who helped Michaela through a lot. Ik everyone's pissed about Asher being a mole, and so am I since I've grown attached to the characters and I love their family like bond, but morally speaking, I think he was doing the right thing. I mean like, yes, it did kind of undermine his character development, with him learning to be his own man apart from his family, but he was just turning on his murdery group of friends. It was wrong that he was just informing on them and he took an immunaty deal, though he did try to get them to take one as well. Then again, this isn't really the show to be thinking from a moral angle. Anyway, just my opinions. R.I.P Asher.

i fucking LOVEEEE THIS TWIST. but i have a concern, the writers seem to have put a lot on their plate - Connor & Michaela turning on A. / what will happen between Tegan and A. / How will the governor be held responsible / how will Xavier be held responsible / How will they bring laurel and wes back. I can totally see a AMAZEBALLZ court scene where A. and Tegan tear the FBI to shreds. and by default (because the FBI agent is involved with Xavier) Xavier going down. and by default (because the Governor is involved with Xavier) the governor going down. but i want the series to end with a SATISFYING THIRST QUENCHING ANNALISE-ESQUE cout scene. like the one in Big Little Lies.
