I read Anne Rice books in my sophomore year in high school. I felt I was a looser on freshman year and thought I want more friends and boyfriends next year. I don’t know what the hell happened but after the Queen of the Damned I felt so powerful and a sexy vampiress, long story short I got so much attention and boys obsessed with me bc I felt and lived the confidence. I felt powerful even though my exterior circumstances didn’t show evidence of it. Just reading led me to imagine me being the hottest shit and ladies it worked. My high school years changed bc of Anne Rice vampire chronicles I lived the confidence and power of the characters. Regardless of what you read it’s how you adopt the energy and turn it into your own power and others will believe you. Just listening to Shera reminds me of the tremendous power of imagination. I was always a year early in school so sophomore year I was 14 and before I even knew the power of the law of attraction I was manifesting my desires. Blows my mind. Mind you I wasn’t sexually active until 20 but still I can recall so many instances I had males at my feet way before that
