It will be a long road and they'll need so much support from the public. After Katrina they were still rescuing/sheltering pets 2 months after the storm. Having groups like Brother Wolf will be such a blessing going forward.

I am glad to hear this because the media has not even mentioned pets, farm, or even wildlife. I helped one in Florida, but I wanted to know more were there. I am so grateful people helped.

Yeah, I have been searching for the animals ever since it started. Hopefully most made it to higher ground. Must have been tons of ground animals who had to come up with a quick plan! I doubt even the beaver homes made it through. Wish I could study how every animal dealt with something like that.

Everyone should go to their local shelters to volunteer. If you love animals now is the time to go and offer your help to the local shelters. So many dogs are at risk of euthanization and the Foster program can really help. You are the answer

There are several agencies that are getting hay donations for farm animals. There is a drop off at the Stockyard in Canton. Many veterinary services are being offered for free for farm animals.
