It's a long story! The overhead wires were put up, the tram beautifully painted and it obviously became a feature of Alan's garden for a number of years. Then came a move to another house & the tram got sold to someone who was going to re-establish it at Ashhurst domain. Unfortunately due to various mishaps this never happened & the tram was on-sold to a retail shop in Palmerston North where it was just used for display, I believe it is still there!

@@puketiro1 Many thanks, i find it most interesting,. I drive on Seaton Tramway in England which has 13 x 2'9" gauge trams. It started off by making miniature trams in 1948. Do you know which shop the tram is now in? Maybe i could see it if i come over there to visit other Tramway musums in New zealand? Just got to wait for the virus to be solved. Thank you
