I feel like they are setting Kellan up to be the one that unites the realm and becomes king, since he's on the quest to kill the witches that started the wicked slumber. Unfortunately, it feels like they treat Will as an afterthought in both Strixhaven and definitely now in Wilds of Eldraine.

It bothers me, as an adopted child, that stories like this refer to someone's birth mother as their *real* mother. Lynden was Rowan's real mother. Lynden was the one to raise and care for her, not the witch that just wanted to kill her and drink her blood.

I was debating with a mate about what if Rowan kills her brother due to not being able to planeswalk. Also, when it's the story of Will and Rowan, they usually ditch Will and focus on Rowan in most stories that they're a part of.

I still want to know if we're ever getting a dinosaur planeswalker. With the portals opened up, I could see Illuna somehow mutating through entering one, which results in gaining a planeswalker spark.

I'm almost happy. For once Ashiok is doing something in the main story. Last time it was a quick throw away that its magic helped bring a god "into creation" then booked it. Then there was no story for the new Theros. There were hints of Ashiok in both War of the Spark and Phyrexian War but ultimate amounted to nothing, zero, shiz all. For once Ashiok is actually an involved character Focusing on proper story writing by one writer is definitely working wonders. Maybe MTG story can be saved. Maybe. Too bad it came at the cost of the Bolas and Phyrexian climaxes

Definitely not Vibing with the direction Rowan is going. WOTC tends to do this to characters they don't know what to do with long term. Nahiri, Lukka, etc. I'm still curious what's going on with Jace, Tezzeret, and Davrin post mending 2.0.

Honestly based on how this story is going, Im getting tired of Rowan. Just have her kill her brother off and be done with her stpry already. Unfortunately, i feel like its gonna be a one sided story and Will be portrayed as the one that pushed Rowan to her current state.
