Love the long zip wallet variations, so beautiful. I may be in the minority but I’m not a big fan of the teal horse hide inside the small zip wallets, it’s just too loud, definitely would have picked up the chestnut horsehide Dublin one if it was black interior

What is it about cordovan that makes it nicer then Dublin? I love the English tan u have and love my Capone in blue. Might get a cordovan but trying to justify the cost.

This is a great comment. Shell cordovan is not necessarily better than Dublin. Both have their own distinct character. What I will say is that shell cordovan is unique/special because it is 1) very smooth 2) bright and shiny 3) never creases -- If you like the look and feel of a shiny and smooth leather, shell cordovan is a great choice because it will remain bright, shiny, and smooth forever with minimal care. Dublin, on the other hand, has grain and a fine texture. Dublin will crease and have some pebbling when folded back on itself. I think the aging process on Dublin is a bit more extreme for this reason. Dublin will start to look like your grandfather's wallet pretty quickly. Both leathers are equally durable and we guarantee both of them to last a lifetime.

@ thanks for the reply,I may have to try she’ll one day soon. One more question especially with black,does it always have that green on the inside? I’d prefer one color all around and (I know I’m in the minority here)no stamping. Are those possible say in a Capone?

@@wickedclown0636 Another great question. The reverse side of the black shell cordovan is almost always green but it is a range of color from a light pale green to a dark forest green. We have been experimenting with staining the back side of the leather recently, too. We could make it black but would need to be custom ordered.
