We need to make Ashlee Simpson famous again. She had such a great opportunity taken away by a bad moment. Looking back, worst things had happened to people who is hugely successful. I loved her music 😢

Ashlee & her friends are exactly how women relationships should be, imo, regardless of age, length of time, etc. i feel like as women, we have the need for that level of connection with others, and watching the 3 of them interact is something I would love to see all women seek in life.

I agree with Rachel on the whole dating mentality. That’s the same way I think, but it’s so hard to date someone now because so many guys want to just “fool around” and don’t want real love or date for the long term. So as someone who knew into their 20s, it’s so difficult now to have that “date for marriage” mindset.

Rachel's friend is so right. I really felt my 30s was a crazy decade in my life. At 40, I fell into my own peaceful self. I like who I am now. 😌

I found the opposite. I loved my 30s, and I felt so secure and solid. Family, career, and life where just were I always wanted. My 40s, have sucked. At 41, my husband died. At 42, my mother died, and at 43, my best friend died. My 40s felt like a tornado going through my life.

It's crazy how small the world really is when you're friends with people how it all interconnects because I used to watch 7th Heaven. I definitely remember Ashley and I definitely remember you on the OC and you guys are like I believe like 5 to 6 years older than me but I feel like your generation like literally raised me and I must be doing something right. But I completely loved this podcast and I love this interview with Ashley and y'all's friends it's really sweet and endearing

Ashley's career never recovered after the SNL lipsynch. She made a decision to walk out on stage knowing she couldn't sing. She also danced a certain way that came off badly on tv. It was career killer for her that will always be brought up in interviews. A shocking thing to happen on live tv. She would have needed the right team around her to continue her career and it looks like she didn't have that. One thing she learned is to say no when you need too. I'm glad she has her family & friends.
