It was awesome to see you guys all back together. I really enjoy the original "old school" format of backstages. This one in particular had a lot of great advice. I loved everything Candace had to say. As a woman, she's right when she says young women have been sold a lie. I am married and a stay at home mom who worked outside the home prior to having kids and I wholeheartedly believe women would be happier taking care of their homes and children. I hope the narrative changes in the coming generations.

Fascinating exposition of Jeremy's role. Through the opener Candace was clearly uncomfortably reserved, likely uncertain of her role with the boys, Shapiro specifically. Jeremy read the group, then adjusted the thread of the conversation to elevate Candace and let her know she has a place in the setting, and her role was desired. The boys "Swiftly" recognized the language and brought her into the conversation as an equal among giants. Meanwhile Matt played the wet-blanket foil, taking the burden of concern off Candace. Fascinating psychology played out.

Think she now realizes that the guys are tight, they worked their asses off to get DW where it is today and Ben is still the main money maker with clients lining up to advertise on his show. During all this infighting in Nov he had the stones to go into the lions den at Oxford Union UK - no armed security and idiots lined up to take him on and he went on from there to meet up with JP and other notables at London ARC02 Nov and when he walked on stage he got a standing ovation form 12000 attendees. Then he accompanied Elon Musk to Auschwitz and interviewed him - he is not someone she can take on and win, and she knows it.

I get that our society needs to do better with marriage, and there are actual important issues that need to be discussed. However, you can't tell me that the red pill community isn't filled with a bunch of degenerates whose advice and opinions just add to the problem. Most of the people that I have seen realistically address our current social/political/moral problems when it comes to marriage don't consider themselves, or are considered by others, part of the red pill movement. You have to admit that there is a reason why people are abandoning that group now even thou it drew the attention of a lot of people when it went viral. They are just as bad as modern feminists for society.

So what? Let the dead bury their dead. How is that a reason to give up on what's natural, only because some people were quite successful at perverting that? "Nowadays the devil has made such a mess of everything in the system of life on earth that the world will presently become uninhabitable for anyone but Saints. The rest will drag their lives out in despair or fall below the level of man. The antinomies of human life are too exasperated, the burden of matter too oppressive; merely to exist, one has to expose oneself to many snares. Christian herosim will one day become the sole solution for the problems of life. Then, as God proportions His graces to human needs and tempts nobody beyond his strength, we shall doubtless see coincident with the worst condition in human history a flowering of sanctity...." Love you both, guys. PS: for those ppl who 'absolutely can't believe that Candace still works at The Daily Wire', *A* - I don't think Ben can actually fire her (he's not the CEO--I know, surprised me too) _and_ , more importantly, *B* - Candace staying is precisely why The Daily Wire is so successful--accomodating people who have wildly different views from you, and having an open debate about it.

Your "happiness" is at the mercy of HER judgment of you as a father, a husband and a man altogether. It's biologically proven that women are more prone to neuroticism/negative emotion than men, they're more prone to file for divorce and no it's not solely due to a man's infidelity or abuse. Because even when comparing married gay men and married lesbian couples, lesbian couples divorced more. If it works for you, that's great and God bless. But understand you're an exception and exceptions don't disprove the rule.

@@TheOuttaPocketVarietyShow It's biologically proven that men are more violent but we can all recognize that telling women to avoid men and not get married in case their husband physically abuses them is overdramatic. Every relationship, whether it be with a spouse, children, parents, or friends, puts you at the "mercy" of the other person. That's the risk we take every single day when socializing because it's worth it to avoid being isolated. If you don't agree, that's fine, but pushing this narrative of doom and gloom is only going to increase the amount of people who truly suffer with loneliness.

@situzen185 Marriage does not make a man a man or true man. It isn't bad to be married, and none of the RP crowd encourage men not to marry. In fact, they constantly talk about how great and ideal it is, which makes these tradcons look stupid and dishonest whenever they talk about it. They simply say, in today's society, which is not very religious, is a very risky idea for men. Pearl in thia case, went to family court and listened to lawyers as well as doing tons of interviews... These tradcons have not done that. The RP crowd are just honest, shaming men into marriage isn't working and less listen to these tradcons today.

The divorce rate is indeed a 50/50 gamble. 8 out of 10 child support payments go from men to women, 9 out of 10 alimony payments go from men to women. 9 out of 10 times the man loses in family court, even when the woman has serious character flaws. 10 out of 10 times the man is taken away after a DV call, regardless of whether the woman was the instigating attacker or was outright lying. To not contend with any of this and other issues, and instead trying to shame men into getting married... is irresponsible. Also notice they spoke about men's responsibility, but never what women have in terms of responsibilities. Men forever need to man up, but on this subject women have no shortcomings to address. It's odd that DW folks are bold on all other issues, but on this one they don't mind sending men to the slaughter. Advocate for law changes or forget about it, we ain't getting married (marriage rates are at an all time low, or is that another made up stat?)

@@kiranvasishta9763 I think we agree on the problems and perhaps agree on what the ideal solutions are. I think we disagree on the practical solutions in the short term. I agree that no-fault divorce isn't going anywhere, for example, in the short term. What I would say though is that even if divorce rates are high and the family courts are skewed against men that men still have a lot of control over their individual circumstances and because of that can enter into marriage without fear. One way to avoid divorce and being screwed over in the family courts is to avoid marriage, true, another way is to be very selective about who you marry. Every man has a ton of control over that and there are lessons to learn from past courtship practices. For example, my wife and I have been married for 10 years. Even though she could easily divorce me and take half of everything and all of our five kids, I don't actually lose any sleep at night thinking that is a realistic possibility because I did my homework before getting married and because we both have the same values. We both equally hate no-fault divorce and both equally hate the idea of our children missing one of their parents. We also both equally see and love the benefits of marriage and are in love with each other. Not the warm fuzzy sentimental love mind you, we are in worldly terms pretty incompatible with very little shared interests and quite divergent personalities. We serve each other and that is the attitude that will glue a marriage together.

No sane woman will open up her womb and give legacy to a guy who wants to do no more than the bare minimum, and hawking fast food like it's a career (unless you want a franchise or plan to work upwards toward regional management) is a definite bare minimum. Now, if you're working a fast food/minimum wage job to offset the cost of finishing college (STEM; no bs lib arts degree) and you have your goals, morals, and priorities in order, like-minded women will find you because EVERYONE is attracted to people who exude confidence and have their ish together. You're responsible for your own ambition, just like you're responsible for what you attract. Don't embolden 304's, then be disappointed when they act (and embarrass you) accordingly. yeah cause he was the one who insulted her behind her back and attacked her publicly without trying to reach out and discuss their ideas. I don't know if they ever talked to each other privately to sort things out (i don't think so), but she has all the right to feel betrayed and hurt. One day you behave like a friend and the next day you're stabbing a knife behind your friend's back. Trying to include her in the conversation doesn't make him a saint and her a bitter woman. She handled everything with grace and only addressed the thing when she was asked about it by Ben. Unlike him, who dragged her under the bus immediately and offered her to leave the Daily Wire. What a gentleman huh.

56:45. Matt, would you say that Steve Crowder made horrible life choices? He said that his (ex-)wife was vetted thoroughly, both never participated in hookup culture, no one cheated during their relationship/marriage, no DV, no red flags. There are probably hundreds of similar marriages that ended despite both parties doing due diligence and being morally upright. I bet you wouldn't say anything to women who decide not to get married based on a husband who one day decided to go sideways. Which reminds me. . . don't think i didn't see what you left out in this "anti-marriage" discussion. I'll give you props for learning more about what we talk about in the manosphere, but you still have a long, long way to go.

My thoughts and ideas very much align with Matt Walsh and Candace. When Candace is talking about Taylor Swift she is exposing the nasty feminist women who are everywhere. She’s passionate about it because she is a mother. She speaks truth. Conservative women know, it’s been rough. Feminism is everywhere and they do not hate men. They hate good women. Removing no fault divorce is a great move. Also, we must get away from divorce and custody being a court battle. The courts and others involved should be able to mitigate and reduce conflict. Right now pretty much all the stakeholders in divorce are incentives to increase conflict. Reduce divorce and reduce its harmful effects.

They won't do it because it sounds like you want to "opress" females when you strip them of the choice to divorce you for no reason. They would be like ''how dare you try to ruin our lucrative scam that we have going on with the state"... Sorry to have to break it to you, but there are somethings that females should have no say about, and divorce is one of those things. If she can't prove without a shadow of a doubt that the husband is a monster, she has no right or say to leave the marriage. And if she dose she damn sure has to get out of the marriage the same way she got in the marriage, with the shirt on her back and nothing more.

Marriage is good, if that’s all that was at issue. “Family law” is operating illegally, that is not good. Any time y’all want to address THAT, you might convince some of us who’ve been through the system to change our minds. Until then, y’all have no idea what you’re talking about. Documented fact: 80% of divorces are initiated by women. No fault divorce doesn’t help. The VAST majority end up with men paying the bills, in violation of their First and Fourth Amendment rights, not to mention their children’s rights. Why? Because they get PAID. And I keep hearing y’all are against socialism? Give me a break. It’s simply too large of a risk for men in general to be forced into indentured servitude for anywhere from 18 years to life.

There is a difference between an immigrant who comes here, follows the rules, learns the language, makes efforts to integrate, etc. and an immigrant who does not bother to learn a word of English after living here for decades. Many of the people who for decades have been coming from Central and South America fall into this second category. They want all the opportunities the US has to offer but refuse to make the minimum effort to integrate. And this country has allowed it. They can even obtain the naturalization certificate (become American citizens, not simply residents) without knowing a word of English (the test they have to take is a joke. A cat would pass it). The Italians, Germans, and whatnot immigrants of the past, they integrated, they wanted to, they needed to. They didn't have this "arrogance" of just wanting the opportunities but rejecting the language and all the values of the country they want to live in, and they were/are not allowed to. But all is different for the immigrant from Central and South America.
