Today I'm sharing how I created this awesome magnetic chalkboard! I'm so happy with how this DIY turned out, and it would make a great addition to any child's room, playroom, or even command center! I hope you enjoy this video and get inspired to try this out yourself. 💕

🖤it! So much better then painting mag paint and then chalk paint over drywall! I wonder what a pain in the butt that would be to paint back to a neutral color if you were sell your home? 🤔 Now that I think of it, before buying my current house I viewed a home with a finished basement that had a chalk wall (no mag paint) and there was no mention of the homeowner painting it back. Something to think about...

Great video! Has the board held up? Do you guys use it a lot? Have u used chalk markers at all? Does it come completely clean after washing ( looks like it does in the video) I might try this out. Ive ordered 2 chalk boards on amazon that both turned out to be poorly painted wood where soap and water didnt even wash off all the marks. Also one roll of chalkboard paper that was garbage.

I attempted to do this same DIY! Unfortunately, I noticed the chalk paint scraped off quite easily. Did you notice this issue at all with yours? I didn't sand it before hand, so I'll try to redo it!

If you use sheet metal instead of galvanized not only do you not have to clean it also wont have to sand it, it's already smooth

I am on a budget to create a Memorium to honor my late beloved daughter who passed away 971 days ago. I will use a wall in my living room to fix a magnetic board and call it 'A WALL OF TEARS'. I'll then use magnets to stick her photos, writeups, trubutes, articles, nicknacks, etc. She was a teacher when CANCER robbed us of her! 😢. I need your prayers to accomplish this. At 79, I am not able to afford ready-made boards in the market! My local MP promised to help me but has finally shown his true colors just as politicians are usually renowned for! God is Great! My dear 'Jenny' will always be alive and will always reside deep inside psyche, heart, and mind. I hope that I'll be able to find the cheapest, thinnest and largest galvanized sheet from Home Depot in Toronto. Mourning my daughter for ever. Please remember her in your supplications IF you can. She was just 49 and has orphaned two small sons!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢. God bless you.
