She has a lot off fans in Bergen - and off course we are so proud of her- but she belongs to the hole world - emotions and music is a common language for all humans ❤❤❤ and she is needed in this world. Thanks for your reaction to Aurora. Best from old woman in Bergen. Happy Youl ❤( jul)

I have had the luck of meeting her, nearly 10 minutes of her time. Memorable in many ways. Much shorter than I expected, her general knowledge is amazing and she opened my eyes to see things that I had seen but not looked at before. Also, when I spoke she was listening, in a way most do not. Most listen in order to speak, she just listened. An amazing woman.

While you're checking out documentaries you should watch Once Aurora. I think it's the best, most complete doc about her. You get a look behind the scenes of the music industry and the creation of some of her songs. I also appreciate that it shows some of the less happy times too...even though it can be a bit sad it made me look at her as even more human and not just the Aurora we typically see on camera.

The tram Aurora was taking with her friend near the beginning of the documentary is the Floibanen that goes to the top of Mt. Floyen in Bergen, with spectacular views of the city and surrounding fjords. The shots of her dancing to Murder Song in the streets were in a few locations in the center of Bergen, a lovely city that I was lucky to visit recently. Not so far from Scotland- maybe a trip in your future?

This doc was THE first ever exposure I had to Aurora. In March 2020, a few days into my job shutting down, bored at home. I'd seen this doc in my feed for months, but never clicked. Thank god I finally did that day... For me, it was the scene where she's listening to "Murder Song" on headphones while dancing the streets of Bergen and the forest. _Everything_ about that scene cut right to the core of me on an emotional intuitive level. The song, with the ascending semitone chord progression, was captivating and effervescent. Even her jacket made me feel things lol. But HER....her sheer confidence and creative joy, tinged with a wise kind of knowing sadness...was instantly magnetic and fascinating. I remember feeling super inspired and hopeful...and thinking "I don't know _who_ this weirdo is, but I already know I'm gonna be a fan for life. This connected with me on a deep deep level." And how true that was.... :)

In my mind the people in the town who were staring at Aurora were visitors. The people who live there just glanced over at the girl dancing and singing with a nonchalant 'Oh it's just Aurora doing her thing'. I love Scotland too, hopefully relocating there is in my future. I visited the Shetland Islands a few years ago in September and sat on a beautiful white sandy beach for a few hours in the middle of the day. The only other person I saw was a lady walking her dog for a few minutes. Having this large beach all to myself for the rest of the time was lovely (I'm originally from London so I'm used to having people all around me).

Thank you for uploading this documentary. It was very very nice to watch "together". And I agree with your comment. There is something magical, artistic and calm connected with her (her Aura? almost like Aurora ;) ) or even "unworldly" (if I used right word :) ). And even if I saw this documentary several/many times it still have such effect. I think she also really things about such topics - like somewhat philosophical things and she has her unique view on these things no matter if I agree (usually) or not. Btw two of her friends in this video are artists too. Sigrid and Iris. You should check them out. Sigrid is well known all over the world. She has an incredible voice. Totally different from Aurora, and more mainstream music, but they have one thing in common... They are not afraid of being themselves. she's REALLY good and one of my favorites too. Lots of videos of her with millions of views here on KZbin. The video of her song "Strangers" has 69 million views. Maybeee do a reaction? 😃

You are very right about "Sigrid". She had her break through in 2017, about a year after this. I am afraid I have to appear as an unbearable know-it-all when it comes to "Iris". The girl who's taking the mt. Fløyen tram with Aurora is Yvonne Nordvik. She won the Norwegian "The Voice" 2015. As fare as I know Iris was not a part of this documentary (She was probably in France at that time)😊.

Hi dear Ashlena ! Since I can't find this video on patreon, I will comment here : This is such a wonderful documentary... so different from all the documentaries of musicians and singers that I use to know and have watched, She is such a unique and wonderful person, who has such unique and wonderful ideas, when ir comes to writing songs, that it is actually not a big surprise that she made this unique and wonderful documentary. We get to know a lot about her personality through what she is saying in this video. And I also often wondered, how much of the private person Aurora is actually in the artist Aurora... and when you watch this video, you'll probably have an idea, because of what her real friends, who know her personally, say about her. And I think that there CAN and WILL never be 100% match of those two, which is totally normal, I would say, I hope she will stay the way she gives herself on stage and behind, when being confronted with her fans, which has not always been easy for her (you will find out when watching the "Once Aurora" documentary, another MUST react to, in my opinion) But no matter how much she and her music will change over the years, I am sure she will always be the same wonderful person she became while growing up, and until now. Your reaction and final thoughts were so wonderful, as always, dear Ashlena. You mentioned on patreon, that you wanted to do a vlog video about documenting a day in your privste life, which I would appreciate and love to see. Why don't you also do a video like this one here ? Showing us all the things and places that you love and that inspire you in your life ? That would also be a wonderful gift for your "subscribers, patreons and superthankers" (like you always say at the beginning of your videos). Best wishes from your fan Gerry

Start with her breaking hit - Don't Kill My Vibe - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqvSn4SlhLNsm9Esi=l0LYf3iz9AV0i3cL . Her catalog is getting big , she makes hit after hit, very popular live, great energy.
