Ashley Callingbull, a Cree First Nations woman from the Enoch Cree Nation in the province of Alberta is the first ever aboriginal winner of Mrs. Universe 2015. We applaud her stance on important issues that directly affect indigenous people across North America. She gets political, and she doesn't care if you don't like it. The new Mrs. Universe is a First Nations Activist for First Nations Rights and environmental causes in Canada and hardly you 'typical beauty queen'.
Ashley Callingbull is also an international motivational speaker and role model for many educational institutions, workshops, conferences and award ceremonies. Ashley has spoken at Harvard University, Boston as the keynote speaker for an All Ivy Native Council, TED Talks and WE Day.

My first wife was a native Cree from northern Manitoba sadly she past away in 2011 we were married in 1977 have 2 kids. Shirley was a vary strong willed woman and proud over her haritage and yes she was beautiful like Ashley. in Cree " key saw key din" to Ashley to Shirley and to the Cree nation. ( means i love you)
