This is one of my favorite videos on the internet. It's hard to describe, but this version of the song with the raw piano and vocals is much better. It's feels much more somber and peaceful than the original. Also I don't know why they decided to use a poor quality camera to film this but for some reason it just works. It makes me nostalgic, like I'm watching one of my old home videos from my childhood. It's beautiful. Thank you for this.

This reminds me of choir when I was in high school. I remember the teacher playing on a piano that sounded a lot like this while one of the soloists was practicing her part. This song stimulates a lot of good and bad memories of when I was a teenager; this is a blessing. It reminds me of how far I've come.

'Hipster' has been so watered down by now it can be applied to almost anything that's off-beat or 'ironic' these days. In the 90s we'd call it 'alternative' or 'prog'(ressive.) Music is music. Like some, dislike some; it doesn't matter to anyone but yourself.

When this video was made the Indie genre was very popular. Along with that people took a fancy to old things because of the genre. Indie really started though back in late 80s to the 90s or something like that.
