I waited 4 months for my furniture, and they sent the wrong table and chairs. The delivery guys said this happens every day. I had to wait another 3 months for the right set. 1 week later, one of the chairs broke while my 90 year old mother was sitting on it. I had to go in to the store to report it because they don't answer their phones. They ordered the wrong part for the chair, and when the service guy came out he said this happens all the time. They order the part again, and again they sent the wrong leg. I told them to send both legs so they would get them right, but then they wouldn't send the service guy back out. After almost a year, I finally fixed the chair myself. I can't stress enough, if you have a problem with your furniture, you will get no satisfaction or help from Ashley.

Everyone who is waiting, cancel your orders. We waited for almost 3 months, then decided to cancel our order. Here's an idea Ashley, Don't Advertise Sales if you don't have stock. Or better yet don't sell things that are not in your warehouse. You can only use Covid as an excuse for so long, this really shows how mismanaged this company has become.

I will never buy Anything made by this company ever. I purchased 3 complete bedroom suites. It took 3 months for them to deliver everything. A regular suite, a queen size and a king. I also purchased the 5 year warranty. Mind you, I purchased while the mom was the owner of the store. I put everything in storage because I was remodeling my home. By the time I opened each cardboard box each piece of furniture was enclosed with styrofoam and was also in a wooden crate inside the boxes. The queen and regular had broken chests and nightstands. The king size suite, every piece was damaged. Drawers broken, tops of dressers, bed headboard broken. Nightstands drawers and bottom broken. Okay I'll admit it was about a year before I took it out of storage. There was NO damage to the cardboxes, Styrofoam, nor the wooden crates inside of the boxes. By the time I went to the store, the mom had retired and her son was now owner. He would not honor the 5 year warranty. He said I had no proof that it was like that when I got it. Come on now, why would I pay thousands of dollars for something to tear it up like that? The cardboard boxes had no signs of damage. The wooden crates were not damaged. The Styrofoam was not broken. If boxes had been damaged, I would have let the delivery men take it back to the store that day. I will NEVER buy anything made by Ashley again. NEVER. I do believe whoever packaged the furniture in those large boxes, knows it was all broken before they sold it to me.

Even my family warned me don’t buy Ashley’s. And it’s not like they are cheap. Their furniture is pricey… I’m going to heed warning and stay away.

Bought a tv stand online. Paid for delivery and assembly. Delivery driver said it will take to long to assemble. Wtf I paid for assembly! Then I said who’s going to assemble it! He said I honestly don’t know! It clearly states in the email del assembly and not to mention removal of packaging! Unbelievable

In Fort McMurray Alberta but yet Edmonton I just talked to them and they can have it at their store next week. Going in tomorrow and canceling with Fort McMurray. Not impressed with them.

We bought a couch/ottoman from Rohnert Park years ago. Even paid extra for the FULL COVERAGE warranty. The guy who sold it to us said they cover EVERYTHING. First they wouldnt deliver it up here (Kelseyville), we had to pick up in Santa Rosa at a family members house. It was all wrapped up in a crate. THEN, when we did bring it home, it was damaged. Husband was pissed, called and went off on some poor customer service girl at the store. No one ever called us back or did anything to help. THEN, our couch ended up breaking a cheap piece of wood underneath. They would NOT cover under warranty. I cant remember what their excuse was. Then the cushions went flat after a few years, wouldnt cover that either. We ended up tossing it into the dump. Will NEVER go back there again.

I’m in NW of Atlanta Georgia and shopped the Marietta Georgia Ashley furniture store off of Rosewell Rd. in East Cobb and as of June 20,2023 our lives have a freaking nightmare was supposed to be anniversary gift, as my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a new living room sectional by Ashley at the location my husband was working because he’s a Builder/General Contractor and the manager wanted our business and so long story short did credit app and was approved with a delivery date was 2 days before our anniversary and the delivery 🚚 was horrible and all caught on our security cameras with these African men , that one had his pants down with his underwear showing and it started to rain 🌧️ with heavy down pours and they left the armless chair to the sectional couch in the rain and so I called for my husband to come home because the one man kept yelling out to me after I asked for them to stop and wait a minute for rain to slow up but he said NO because they had 17 more deliveries and dented my front door and put a hole in the newly custom painted wall when they pushed their way through my front door and here it’s almost a month and nothing is fixed and we still can’t sit on the furniture because the legs to the armless chair are wrong and it can’t be attached to the sectional.

I purchased a bedroom set in December 2021 for my new house. My bed still isn’t put together because the slats don’t fit in the bed. I called them and they sent me the same exact size slats that do not fit! The plastic rods that put the headboard together broke. So I’m still without my bed. I can’t order a mattress yet because I have no bed frame put together. My dresser is put together but the screws that secure the brackets are too small. I called to return the products. But they don’t take returns in order for me to exchange it I have to donate it and give them the tax write off in order to receive a new dresser. But my thoughts are…. Why should I go through all of that???

Different kind of experience for me. Ordered furniture for my daughter out of state- college student. Used our Ashley credit card. Their “review dept” felt that because the billing and shipping address were different, it was possibly fraudulent so they cancelled the order after furniture had already been shipped. Never received an alert to confirm if purchase was legitimate. Only found out 3 days before we were to travel 8 hours to help with the move that furniture had been rerouted. They wanted me to confirm with documents her address- WTH??! Why is that their business???! Then they wouldn’t credit my card back cause they didn’t receive their furniture yet!!! You cancelled the order ASHLEY sounds like a personal problem to me!!! Won’t purchase from them again!!!!

I work in the customer service line and I'm not even in the USA, confirm all you're experience cause EVERYDAY we have calls about delays for even 5 months and is incredible how the store after the purchase never take care about the customer or the items, they promise specifics days and if the items are in BO cause still in manufacturing process, the customer is totally like "whats going on", we in the customer service dont have any way to contact the stores, the dc or the manuf, is insane how this company still works.

Their is a shortage right now and supplies to build the furniture is hard to get and it’s hand made and because of covid they are running behind. They never were late until this pandemic. Just like car shortages it’s the same thing . The chips are not available and cars are high priced. Our country is experiencing a all time high in Gas and food . Ashleys is a quality store , just had bad customer service. They should have stayed in touch . Sorry you had that happen. I hope you understand why your furniture was delayed. We had the same problem when we bought a bed from images in Gravesend in england. We paid £400 we got the right outside part of the bed but wrong slatts that were to big. The mattress is shit and we complained about it and we told them my girlfriend has a bad back. Then they bought a dovan base inside the bed frame. Then they wasn't going to take old mattress away when we paid for it to be taken away. Then we asked when they was coming back to take the other slatts back they haven't. So we reported them to trading standards and they are now closed down

Good old "ASSLEY" Furnature. Yes this was my experience as well. Sofa didn't come in when promised so I canceled my order. I really like the sofa and found it on Bed Bath & Beyond by Overstock for about $1,000.00 cheaper. The sales girl told me that Ashley sends all their damaged stuff to other outlets to be sold and if I wanted the quality stuff I needed to buy it in the store. With that said she was promoting me to steal stuff from their store. What a peace of shit she was.

I had a very bad experience too...same thing failed to show up... NEVER called to reschedule. I was jerked around by customer service repeatedly. I returned to the store and complained. They refunded my delivery fee of 400$. In other words if you get screwed, on delivery dates, show up to the store and speak with the main manager. Demand a reimbursement on delivery fee as they CAN do it.

Sorry about your delayed furniture. But sometimes it my say its in stock but they then take it out of stock because of other reasons ( 1 in stock could have gotten damage or there inventory was off. Don't think they would have known that at the store. But could always ask for a refund and take your business elsewhere. We are waiting for a new chicken coop to still come in. Ordered it from tractor supplies and the shipper they used sucks. Was supposed to be here Tuesday and its still not here. No Faults on the company but the shipper they used. But it definitely sucks when you shell out money and stuff don't come on time. Are coop cost us $1300 but still using are old one till it arrives. Also it took almost 1.5 months for new upper control arms to arrival from Kryptonite. But they did come in and was well worth the wait. They did offer to refund that order but we said no because there part is one of the top parts for Duramax upper arms. So the wait could be well worth it in the end. Also we only go on google reviews. Yelp hides a lot of reviews. Even on are business page they hide reviews. So we only send customer are google link to leave reviews. They are more selective then google reviews of what they show people. But google reviews are more of a accurate representation of the business.

Just remember that Ashley Stores are independent contractor. They are licensed to sell Ashely's fortune. So your expanse can vary. I have had great service with the three Ashely stores I have shopped at. One in Tacoma WA, Clarksville TN, and Reno NV. So when making a review make sure you say the store and city. They are not all bad. Now I will say never shop online with Ashley that is a nightmare. Always check out the store and check the reviews of you local store.

A mattress in the living room? Never did that, but we did use patio furniture in the living room for months before we could get (afford) what we wanted. Macy's is honest about their delivery dates. Also, Lazy Boy is months and months behind with delivery, but they don't lie about it, I waited 4 months for my new sofa and chair. But, I knew going into it with Lazy Boy. We need more really good furniture stores here in Santa Rosa don't we? Love your new house and furnishings. ♥

Worked there during the time period you posted this and production was way behind. Normally they stay about a week ahead but for a couple reasons I can’t disclose, they were months behind at that time. I know three incidents off the top of my head around that time that cost the production teams hundreds of sofas, loveseats, and dressers to be delayed. Sucks you guys were one of the customers it effected 🥲

I wish I saw all the bad reviews before I bought there. The furniture was delivered and it smells so bad like chrmicals its making me sick. I called Ashley and they are trying to jack me around. I had to call my attorney,, I also bought on Amazon a air quality tester that should arrive tomorrow. I am interested to see how much chemicals in the air. I have to open my frint door, windows, run a air purifier and it as till smells. The manager at Ashley said all nee furniture smells and put a vowl of coffee beans on the furniture to absorb the smell, Really! I spent $6,000 and I cant even sleep because of the fumes! Im not resting until they take this crap furniture back and I get a credit. Im coughing, cant breathe, eyes are burning, have to sit outside. How does this crappy company stay in business. Oh and by the way its 4am right now and Im sitting outside because my apartment stinks so bad!!! I missed three days of work last week I was so sick. The smell is not going away and Im probably going to the hospital. Thus business should be shut down. Also when I said I want to return. The customer service girl in the philipines that I could barely understand said I needed to send them photos of each piece of furniture with serial numbers! I told her they just delivered the furniture in the last ciuple of weeks. They have all that info. Its just another tactic to delay so they dont have to give a refund! BS !!!

@themattjojoshow72 I know this review is very old, but seriously thank for this. My parents have 2 17 year old Ashley sofas in our front room, and now, they are no good. the loveseat is fine. but the bigger leather couch. the cushions are sagging. I slept on the big couch for a year and a half so I can give up my bed for my awesome step-grandmother who is amazing. Don't know where my folks got their 12 year old recliner, pretty sure at ashley furniture and not la-z-boy. that chair sucks too. Now when you sit in it, it clunks. chair doesn't lean back when you sit in it. is it comfy? yeah. another complaint about the chair, tears in the leather. the edge of the seat where the back of your legs are placed over, there are major tears in the leather due to my 2 family puppies that jump up on the chair. i don't sit in that chair. i use to back in 2012. but not any more. it's called, grandpa's chair, cause my step-grandfather, use to sit in that chair when he'd come stay with my folks and me. i use to have a beautiful blue soft la-z-boy recliner, and oh my goodness, i loved it. it was passed down from my grandma, to her son, in 2012. but 8 years later in 2020 during covid, my uncle threw it away in the dumpster cause his neece and nephews on his wife's side of the family broke my precious blue recliner. planning on getting a la-z-boy. i asked my biological father to help me get one, and he's going to help me get one. my family's getting ashley furniture soon this year. my step-dad and mom. i'm kinda not interested in ashley. an ashley opened up in my town a few months ago. um, no thank you. but yeah, back to the big couch my folks have, the cushions sag so bad. it squeaks when you sit on it. and my god, my family's leather recliner, the 13 year old beat-up leather recliner that's now ripped up on the cushion of the chair, it squeaks too. i'm definitely getting a la-z-boy. found some that are old school. None of this new school power recliners. old school, i'm talkin' about the manual recliners. my step-grandma and step-grandpa got 2 la-z-boy leather recliners from la-z-boy in my old hometown 11 and a half years ago. i went into la-z-boy in that city with my family to help them buy them. my step-grandma brought hers to her new home last year while her husband's stayed behind at her old house since he accidentally wore it out. leather in both recliners is super thin. but my step-grandma's? i love her chair. comfortable every time i go to her place. i hate sectionals too. hard to get out of them. i gotta to crawl on all fours to crawl over the automan to get off them. ug. i hate them. but yeah, i'm getting my own la-z-boy chair like my old one. a blue recliner with nice padded arms, a plush seat, a rocking recliner with that beautiful soft blue chenille fabric. pretty sure what i'm talking about. found one i love. seriously get a la-z-boy. my step-grandmother's chair is in good shape til this day. i sit in her chair and it feels like she just bought it yesterday. i mean, my family got it for her yesterday. even though that chair and my step-grandpa's la-z-boy were bought back in 2012. hell of a lot better than my mother's ratty old leather recliner that's just terrible. "son go sit on grandpa's chair," my mother says to me as i sit at the kitchen island. "Hell no," is what i want to say. when i get my chair, i'm putting the bitch in my room. she's going to sit next to my queen size bed. and when I want to rock in that chair and feel the chenille fabric touching my skin, as i sit on that couch, i will. family i live with will be jealous but i don't care. i don't, care!!! christmas present i will ask from my father this year, to hlep me get a recliner. la-z-boy. no ashley recliner. nope. a la-z-boy. same exact size of chair like my old blue one that i miss so much. same material. soft blue chenille fabric, and old school classic la-z-boy look. hope this helps to anyone that wants a recliner like the one i'm looking for too.

@@themattjojoshow72 Anytime brother. Update on the recliner and ashley loveseat and couch. My folks got rid of those couches thank god. And our old shitty recliner, it's gone, thrown in the dumpster. It's been 4 months since the chair was thrown out. Kinda sad to see it go but kinda happy it's gone. My folks replaced it with an Ashley electric recliner. I only sat in it once. Shit hurts my back. I'm more of a la-z-boy fan honestly. I sit in my step-grandma's chair and am always fond of how comfortable that chair is. It's very supportive and doesn't hurt my back. My step-uncle's got a glider from la-z-boy and that chair is comfortable too. Very soft and isn't a leather rocking recliner like my step-grandma's chair. But my step-uncle's chair swivels and glides. And thank god it doesn't require you to plug it into a wall outlet. Yep that's an update on my family's old couches from Ashley that were given to my cousin's mom 4 months ago. Same time our old crappy recliner was tossed in a dumpster.

I'm looking for a recliner that's going to be comfy like my old one. blue, with soft chenille. and oh my gosh, if you get a recliner, get a chenille recliner. so soft. corduroy soft. the pandemic gave me bad P.T.S.D. I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, I lost loved ones to Covid19, an uncle of mine I was close to almost 2 and a half years ago, passed away. i'm looking for a safe space, a recliner to curl up in. If you want to know what my old recliner looked like, let me describe it to you. and my goodness, it was love at first sight in my chair. so my chair had beautiful soft chenille fabric, clean vertical lines going over the back of the chair, the cushion, and foot rest. and the horizontal lines were on the arms of the chair as well as the sides of it. so comfortable. i will post a recliner update on this channel i am commenting on. the channel i'm commenting to you from is a music based channel. but i will post a recliner review on that same channel. a chair for my back. i'm in my mid 30s and looking for something i can put next to my queen size bed, something i can call my cuddle space. next after my dad helps me get a la-z-boy recliner, a classic old school one, not a power one, but an old school one, next thing i will get after i get my chair is a weighted blanket and that's going to put me in paradise as i'm on cloud 9 in my new chair. will wait maybe until fall 2024 to get my recliner, possibly maybe before my 34th birthday on december 14 this year. wish me luck and please pray that la-z-boy will have a similar recliner in stock like my old 16 year old recliner. found one i love while I was looking at la-z-boy manual recliners online a few weeks ago. A classic recliner with a wooden handle. No power motorized recliner, none of that modern stuff. Just an old school recliner that’s padded, is so soft to the touch and a chair that I can sleep in if I just want to move from my bed to the chair since they’ll be sitting next to each other in my room. Taking the end table out of my room and replacing it with my chair. Also I am not getting a leather one cause leather sucks, and I don’t need a chair to sit in during the summer that’s made of leather and I’m sweating myself like crazy. Nice thing about chenille is that the beautiful soft clean lines keeps the chair warm too. Isn’t that so cool? Let me know if you ever sat in a recliner that’s so soft, chenille soft to the point where you refuse to not let anyone take over your spot except you. Lol. it's a gibson rocking manual la-z-boy recliner, the chair I came across a few weeks back. so soft. If you get a chair, get a la-z-boy. and don't worry i am not telling my mom i'm getting my chair cause she'll be jealous haha. my folks over here want ashley furniture, but for me, for my own man cave, my room, i'm getting a la-z-boy, a chair i can snuggle up in, a chair that can be placed next to my bed. will try to find a blue one, but if my local la-z-boy store doesn't have the blue recliner, the gibson model, i'm going to get their canyon denver brown color it's soft too like the blue one. chenille, heck yes, that's my material. reminds me of my grandpa's 29 year old chair and a half he got at montgomery ward back in the mid 90s. remember montgomery ward? and oh my god, that chair my grandpa had, it was a wall recliner, but my god, it smelled like a furniture store. comfy though. could fit 2 people in it. nice beautiful chenille fabric all over the chair. so so soft too. when my mom's youngest half sister whose the same age as me, when my aunt and i were kids 26 years ago, we'd stay at my grandpa's house, her dad's house that is, and my autn and i cuddle in his chair. so comfortable. i felt like i was in the clouds. and i don't blame you for not buying things from ashley. ashley is garbage. can't wait to get my la-z-boy gibson recliner. please, pray that la-z-boy has my blue chenille manual recliner. if you want the measurements, i'm getting a recliner like my old one, it's 44 inches wide, 43 inches tall, and 40 inches deep as the seat is concerned. my goodness, the pillowed arms, the biscuit style back, and that plush seat. keep me in your prayers that i find the right chair. finding my dream recliner like my old one my uncle threw out, is like me finding that beautiful blond a girl whose the same age as me. lol. and sitting in a la-z-boy, if you sat in one that has that chenille material, it's like you're being cuddled to sleep. being held. it's fantastic. it's a chair i will call my safe haven when it's put it in my room, set up next to my bed, a chair i can sit and play my guitars and film videos. wish me luck and god bless you.

I actually really like Ashley! They’ve been good to us and we’ve been going to the same store for a few years in nashville 🫶🏻
