I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that when someone in hollywierd has appearance changes, they may have gotten some surgical alterations. The fillers that were getting used made a bunch of them look terrible. I hope she gets better. Prednisone is a horrible drug and it can give you that awful moon face appearance among a host of other things.

I went from 115 lbs to 165 lbs from being on long term high dose Prednisone for a few years due to health issues I also had moon face. I ended up weening myself off & finding another Dr. it was doing more harm than good but my Dr was getting blood work saying I was in remission but I wasn't, the steroids were giving false readings. I was getting to where I couldn't walk or dress myself & asked to get off it & was told no & on top of pills I was receiving shots monthly. Steroids can be helpful but also hurtful know & listen to your body! .

It’s interesting to see how cruel people are. As I age, lose my hair, get chubbier it’s shocking how many people from my past want to point it out and ask me why I don’t look as good as I used to. I just tell them everyone gets old and no one stays attractive forever. I think a big part of what has always made Ashley so beautiful is not just her gorgeous looks but how intelligent and articulate she is.

Yes, Naomi battled depression, but also yes, Naomi raised “strong, strong women” who know their worth. Because those 2 things are not mutually exclusive. Their strength comes from their mother teaching them to recognize it, and nurturing it in them - but it also comes from them being able to recognize the kinds of things they didn’t want holding them back; things they watched tearing their mother apart from the inside out on those occasions. Every parent does that…..regardless of depression, or not. No 2 people are strong in all the same ways, for all the same reasons, because we’re fundamentally different with fundamentally different life experiences. Taking her own life doesn’t make Naomi weak, nor does it suggest that she wasn’t raised to be strong, herself. But, even if she wasn’t raised to be strong, it wouldn’t mean that she didn’t raise her daughters to be. You have to be pretty strong to find your mother’s body minutes after she shot herself and maintain the presence of mind required to address her fans, honor her at her own induction to the Country Music Hall of Fame the next day, and discuss the scene & events of her death in a television interview.

I took steroids for hives because of an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Steroids are great for many things but the side effects are brutal! Swollen face, hair growing on the face that had to be shaved, insatiable appetite, swollen hands, feet and legs. The inability to only walk short distances because of the cramps in the legs. Can't sleep,increased heart rate, increased body temperature, excessive sweating. And that is just a few! And when you take them for a couple of weeks or longer, you can't just stop taking them you have do a step down dose for several weeks. I don't understand why people are so cruel to each other. How does this cruelty make a person feel better about themselves. Everybody has their own cross to bear, we should help each other not cause more harm!

I remember after having my first son about 30 years ago I got pneumonia and they gave me steroid shots to help me get better and within 30 days I was moon-faced I had gained almost 40 pounds in that month and it caused so many issues and there was not much they could do about it until the steroid quit working and I quit gaining weight before I can actually get some help for it. The weight doesn't fall off you actually have to lose that weight which is so hard I felt so bad I had no clothes that fit and I didn't look right in the face cuz I was so moon face around in the face it was awful I can understand what she's going through totally

Social Media has brought out the nasty , mean spirited people, who apparently have nothing better to do. My husband took Prednisone for many years for COPD and asthma. As he took it for so long, his face and neck were so bloated, also his neck and around his sides. One Dr. told me as soon as he saw him, he could tell he was on steroids. The longer you take them, the more it changes your appearance. Trolls are not that bad. In my town there are life sized trolls placed in the middle of certain streets to warn people not to drive any further because if they do, they are going to tear up their vehicles and people don't want to tear up their vehicles. But because some people are stubborn and don't care why the trolls are there in the first place, they get out of their vehicles, move the trolls to the side of the street or throw them in the ditch so no one can see them, then they proceed further and drive into the messed up torn up damaged street and tear their vehicles up. My best friend has been on steroids for many many years & I can personally attest to it making her puffy. I am allergic to all steroids, but my newish Neurologist accidentally forgot & prescribed steroids for my constant nonstop migraines in March, 2022, I cried when my husband accidentally purchased the prescription of steroids, he knows how allergic I am& he didn’t read the box. I have gained and lost weight from several different medications I can’t take over the last 23 years, in my search for migraine relief.

Yes, I’ve both had Botox treatment and steroid treatment for chronic migraine. Months of steroids will alter appearance. (I’ve only ever had short courses). I’ve had Botox treatment for migraine, and it also changed my face temporarily, not as prominent as Ashley seems to be experiencing. Either way, I empathize with her on how hard living with migraine is. 💜❤️

Ashley Judd is an incredibly beautiful woman and I am sickened by the verbal harassment she has experienced. I was surprised to see her in a recent video looking different from what I had remembered. As a physician, I had considered that this was entirely steroid-induced cushing syndrome. It has the tendency to cause this very look. When I heard that she was taking on terrible criticism, I was saddened by the current affairs of humanity. As Americans we hate a bully, yet that is exactly what we see every day, especially on social media. Kick a person when they are down is such a brave place to be....PFFFT!!! Bullies tend to have low self esteem and shame issues. They want others to feel their shame and self hatred. The ironic thing is that Ashley Judd is probably more attractive than 99.9% of the haters on her worst day. People should start looking at themselves before they cast stones and judgement upon others. Ashley Judd is a very intelligent, beautiful, talented, accomplished human being who is most defined by who she is on the inside versus who she is externally. People disappoint me more and more every day!!!

I have been successful my entire life, and do not suffer mental health disease. I believe in treating people fairly and with grace. I try to look for what is best in a person rather than the worst. Your lack of empathy and sensitivity is absolutely shocking to me. You hide behind an IP address, within the confines of some obscure place, and cast a wide net of judgement. What you write is frankly disturbing. Should I conclude that you are some mental half-wit yourself? Does the knowledge of anonymity give you an extra dose of bravery to heap insults towards others? Would you do it to my face....her face? What credible facts, and I do mean facts, do you have that suggest she is disturbing and sickening?
