My response to this question is that when someone becomes a celebrity, they have got to expect that they are no longer “Private People “. The same love that their fans had for them is going to elicit interest in all aspects of their lives. Including their deaths. The public made them rich and they are going to want to know exactly what caused her death. If you want things kept private, you are going to have to be a private person, not a public figure!! Live by the sword, die by the sword!

@@pearlygrace7607 I’m very sure that her daughter “Y” already saw the note. I’m sure that she was not shocked by this as Naomi obviously didn’t want her at the funeral. Naomi blew her brains out. Not much is going to shock her after that! Im not saying that this doesn’t deserve privacy, but there is absolutely no way that this will ever have a chance of maintaining privacy on its own! She was a celebrity and believing that this desperate act is not going to be investigated is very idealistic. People want to know the whole story and Naomi basically gave her story away anyway to the World. This information isn’t going to really do any damage. It was quite clear that she was absolutely miserable with her life or she would not have killed herself

The history of The Juds, Wy and Naomi had a relationship filled with complications but ALSO with love. Wy knows what her mother was dealing with and even with that note sung How Great Thou Art at her memorial service or CMHOF induction on CMT. Death always brings questions about why a person left their estate belongings the way they did. IMO she probably knows Wynonna has her house and $$$ for life and so does Ashley. She probably wanted to ensure her husband didn't get left with nothing. It's not my business or place to say. I do wonder but also know I will never know and that's not the important thing, nor is it any of my business. The mental state she was in at the time was apparently....... something I don't even have words for besides manic, severe, and critical. Knowing what happiness the next day was supposed to be and the upcoming tour + remission from Hepatitis....she was feeling something I hope I never experience, for sure. Prayers for the family, friends, fans, and even foes. We are all connected In this life together and for a fellow being to release that note for $$$ is unforgivable and shows the true state of our society today.

His mom and dad was asleep and I was up with my nephew, it was early in the morning and I was 12 at the time. When his dad heard my screams he ran to get him and threw something over him to put it out. Anyway a newspaper printed that he was sitting on his dads lap playing with the lighter which was untrue and that hurt our family so my mother got ahold of them and made them retract it.

Details of Naomi’s death do no one in the public any kind of good. There is just no reason whatsoever to make them public. It does nothing except cause pain to those she left behind, which is the very worst result of this action. Suicide is something we need to address, as a result of a disease-depression-that is becoming more prevalent every year. We have lost too many wonderful souls to this disease. Please, please leave Naomi’s family to grieve without adding to their pain. Address your attention to how we can help eradicate this disease.

The family had a very rocky relationship as was exposed in Ashleys book about her not so sane mother, and the horrors she exposed them to as children. There was nothing the family could do about the files being released… as it’s state law. If the law is changed, then it would be a good idea to have case by case review to determine whether public release is necessary. Maybe for suicides, they should be automatically sealed. I used to live in TN and if I recall correctly, you have to be a resident in order to view public records. So everyone doesn’t have access as it is, but local media can get the records and distribute. Even though the NYPost obtained the files, it could have been much worse. Apparently they chose not to publicize the most disturbing photos. What they showed was bad enough but thank God they didn’t disclose everything. I think the Judd’s might be feeling some backlash over what they’ve shared with the media vs what the media has shared.

Oh yes just throw Wy under the bus on your way out! My mother was no different either so it’s not just famous families. My mother died technically of Alzheimer’s like her three brothers and one sister did. Actually my moms closest sister died of Alzheimer’s on a Monday and on Friday my Mom died. My mothers doctor found a small nothing tumor in her lung and because of age said let’s watch it. Then they didn’t look for five years and it had spread everywhere so she was eighty and said adamantly no chemo. Even the doctor said it was curable but she went home and refused to eat and the hospice nurses said she knows the cancer won’t kill her for years so she’s refusing to eat so she will die because Alzheimer’s is more a stigma than cancer at least in her mind. She screamed at me that I couldn’t help her pointing her finger at me but my brother could. I don’t play! I don’t care what you have it’s no reason to be rude so I shot back….I was always daddy’s favorite anyway and I have a husband who is wheelchair bound and I need to get him some food. I don’t have time for this popularity contest! My dad still had life and still had to go to his doctors, shopping and get haircuts and my brothers were working so I stayed with her. My husband is that very very rare person who survived a aortic dissection split down his side hitting his kidneys like a Mac truck then down his legs. He was expected to die and was on life support six months and then one day the sun came up and Jesus had healed him. Shocked the doctors speechless. Sometimes it’s fun to watch scientific atheist rummage through all their test and say this is not even possible? I said guess again! I told you Jesus was coming. They were happy when they got over the shock. I really had better things to do than be insulted by my mother.

It sucks how it affects celebrities nevertheless in a broader context all of these records, birth certificates, death certificates, land sales, autopsy reports, divorce info, etc. needs to be public information for posterity and historical context. It sucks how the media manipulates public information. However, in spite of celebrities, it should remain public information. That's how your descendants will be able to research you because all of this is public information. What should be banned is what the media can print. Most people were not going to take the time to go look up these public records, so let the records remain public. Nevertheless, the media doesn't need to be able to publicize it.

WJ publicly humiliated her mother at the Grammys. When mom put her hand on W , she said don’t touch me . 😢 Over the years NJ was very vocal on her deep depression and triggers ( preforming ). Then touring was announced 😮. They knew her triggers . It’s sad it came to this . I lost respect for WJ . Depression is ugly .

Well I watched Wynonna Naomi’s concert tour on Netflix and a lot of interviews. Those girls of Naomi made her feel so guilty about everything even when they knew she was dealing with depression. Always playing the blame game with her, especially WynonnaI don’t have any respect for Wynonna I can see why her mamma didn’t want her at her funeral and why she kept both out of her Will! Shame on them for doing that to her and made her worse.

She was really, really good at playing the victim card all the time. I watched that special and she was just over the top difficult.

Naomi, give it to God to take care of it Earth 😅is where learning experiences happen. You are all still loved very much. Mom will be okay or is already ok. So it IS.

Ashley is being a victim card playing drama queen like she always is. She goes on and on about wanting privacy, but is constantly giving interviews or releasing statements to the media. Wynonna is the same way. They are enjoying the attention they're getting from Naomi's death. Ashley and Wynonna were terrible daughters to Naomi. They bullied her publicly and I am assuming privately as well. If they could be that cruel to Naomi so publicly for the whole world to see, I have to wonder what was going on behind closed doors. Naomi is gone now and never coming back. Yet, Ashley and Wynonna both continue to play the victim card every chance they get. They are still being selfish and still disrespecting Naomi. It's sickening. I am heartbroken knowing that Naomi's daughters caused her so much pain. I am heartbroken that Naomi passed away so tragically. Naomi was a sweet, caring, and selfless human being. She did a lot to help people, including her selfish and ungrateful daughters. She does not deserve to have her reputation and legacy ruined by Ashley and Wynonna. I am glad that Naomi's note and other information about her death have been released to the public. People that actually love Naomi deserve to know the truth about what happened to her.

Cutting Ashley and Wynonna out of her will tells me that there was a lot of bad blood between them. Very bad blood.
