I like trains too, I race trains, videotape grafitti on slow trains, and I have hopped a train in Kalamazoo unbeknownst to the conductor. I like trains...too. Love this song, nothing like the sound of the old wooden beams smelling of old trains and tar we drove over, now it's a lotta high speed trains, but.. I still like trains too. Love the song.

OK so here's the deal..i also think you have a beautiful voice and I can't wait to hear you do something a little more upbeat. This song will never rocket you to the top of the charts where you should be, do something that makes us feel good. Something that will get played every night on the jukebox. That's how you get that #1 on the charts that I know you're capable of. I'm rooting for you!

I'm happy that she doesn't do the upbeat nonsense songs that become hits.

Sixteen miles from Arkadelphia, right near the Texas border Traffic was stopped at a railway crossing, took it to the shoulder I stoked the kettle, I put it to the metal I shook the gravel loose I missed the train but I was happy with A glimpse of the caboose 'Cause I like trains I like fast trains I like trains That call out through the rain I like trains I like sad trains I like trains that whisper your name I was born on a Greyhound bus My mama was a diesel engine They tried to put me behind the wheel But I wouldn't let them You shoulda seen the look in their eyes And how it turned to tears When I finally told them I want to be an engineer 'Cause I like trains I like fast trains I like trains that call out through the rain I like trains I like sad trains I like trains that whisper your name Now, you think that I've got someone new But darlin', that ain't true I could never love another woman besides you It's not some dewy eyed darlin', darlin' That's gonna drive you insane But any more, I'd be listening for The sound of a big old train 'Cause I like trains I like fast trains I like trains That call out through the rain I like trains I like sad trains I like trains that whisper your name I like trains that whisper, whisper your name

These are the lyrics from the original song by Fred Eaglesmith. Ashley sings the song differently. The verse "Now, you think that I've got......" is not in Ashley's version.

Love the song, but what did she do to her lips??
@1besieged10 ай бұрын
Ashley looks very beautiful, her long wavy blonde hair, full lips, and her southern voice, she is just one amazing artist. Just a hint, ladies can add a little volume to their lips to look sensual, you know men have devices and pills to enhance themselves, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
@daythomasr10 ай бұрын
She was amazingly beautiful when she had natural lips.
@1besieged10 ай бұрын
@@daythomasr Yes she was pretty in her other videos but she is older and women do this because they always wanted fuller lips, maybe she needs a different tech to do her lips they look pretty nice, I think she is just tiny overall but either way, it certainly does not affect her voice and I have to say most women w/ some $cash$ do their lips nowadays amongest other things.
@1besieged10 ай бұрын
@@daythomasr I only see some fullness in her upper lip and comparing this to how she looked at 18 yrs. of age, not a big change, she has only gotten prettier, more elegant, more classy as a fine wine, she is a wife, mother, singer/songwriter/ performer, successful, she has just beat a rare blood cancer. I suppose a slight change in a woman's looks could offend a man, but the man who she is married to still loves her, Ashley's look is not so country but more glamorous and the lips go with the style she has, she to me, has some gorgeous outfits, her hair is gorgeous, she is gorgeous and you can enjoy her older videos but there is nothing wrong with her lips other then they are a bit fuller, she has a more balanced look , used to be we were born w/ smaller top lip now the rage is equal sized lips or the top being more 'pouty' , not a big deal I am an advocate of lip fillers myself, yet to try them out on a new boyfriend. LOL.
@michaelkarlsson59666 ай бұрын
@@daythomasr still is amazingly beautiful. Even so with the hair now in my opinion.
