Agreed. She's a natural. Training doesn't produce natural flair, you either have it or you don't. And Ashley has never been trained in ballroom. The amount of venom towards her is disgusting, and I think it's borne out of jealousy more than anything. I haven't watched every single season, but I've watched most, and Ashley is the best, by a long way.

Thomas Steven she’d want to be the best considering her dance background. and you’re just going to say that she has no background in ballroom blah blah blah.. she still has a severe unfair advantage since she’s spent her whole life performing choreographed routines in front of big crowds. and also being a judge on a massive show, dancing on ice for two seasons. they picked her to judge because of her dance background, if you cannot see that and choose to turn your eye on it, fine that’s your problem. this show is about the journey of people who have NO dance background (such as joe and stacey) learning how to dance and progress throughout the show. Faye also has an unfair advantage but she seems to be getting away with it. then again ashley isn’t warming to a lot of the people at home and not coming across very genuine and like-able so that’s another reason why people aren’t voting.

Above all this is a tv show with the aim of entertaining the viewer, and she’s done a fabulous job of that. I think it’s about time people sat back, relaxed and stopped taking Strictly so seriously😂

Ashley has been a joy to watch. The show has always included 'experienced' contestants, some have even gone on to win. The hate towards those with experience has grown steadily worse over the years, possibly because of the rise in social media critique. Unfortunately this has meant Ashley, and Alexandra last year, has received terrible abuse. It's completely unwarranted. It's an entertainment show, not the World Cup of Dancing, and Ashley and Pasha have certainly entertained. I hope she goes all out in the finals, and show us what she's made of, after a torrid few weeks. Pasha should go crazy for the show dance, his choreography this series has been phenomenal, and it's been quite a wait since Caroline to see him able to dance and perform like this with a contestant. Go and smash it on Saturday, Pashley!

From the moment she was in that dance off, a switch went and she had some of the most memorable dances in the show's history. I still can't get over that Cha-Cha/Tango fusion. I've been a huge supporter of Ashley since day one and have for voted for her in numerous amounts every single week. It's a shame about all the hate that she recieved - all Ashley wanted to do was have fun and learn a new dance style to her (and yet the horrid GBP couldn't even let her do that). She's worked hard every week to produce some amazing dancing and I feel priveliged to have witnessed it all - after all, that's why I watch Strictly. Not for "the journey" of contestants but simply for good dance. If you don't want her to win, fine. She won't. The celebs with dance experience never win as the final is based on public vote and not scores. I'll still vote for her anyway because she's one of the best dancers ever to go on the show. She may not win, but I will look back on all of her dances with fondness. And Ashley, if you ever read this, I want you to know what you're doing is amazing. Keep voting because Ashley has a chance to win and she is getting more votes each week since the dance off and has gained more support . Ashley was put into the dance off on purpose in week 10 and 11 by under scoring her and tithing her with Stacy . Stacy only needed one more vote then her to not be in the dance off trust me the producers know what they are doing and this past week they tithed her with Faye and Faye got the one extra vote , Ashley is getting more votes each week and i believe she is the threat to Stacy and Faye more then you realize . The British public are voting for her and the nasty comments are from people that do not represent the true fans of the show. Ashley has made this season such a joy to watch and i loved all their dances.

She is amazing pasha is amazing enough said. To be honest who really cares about winning a trophy at the end of the day Ashley is the contestant that will be remembered years from now. She will be featured on the best of strictly DVD’s and her videos will rack up more views over the years than the others. Just like Alexandra Burke last year and Danny Mac the year before. People learn to appreciate them after the show ends and remember how good certain dances were. That’s the strictly legacy. I cant remember who won from year to year but I can name all the contestants who did stand out dances over the years and most of them didn’t win the show. The winner this year will be know in a few years as an over rated contestant who was popular like so many winners before.

I understand and agree that it isn't fair to compare all the contestants with the same standard, given the significant difference in experience, but that doesn't mean Ashley had not also worked very hard to deliver wonderful dances and performances with all these different styles! I think it's fair to expect more from her, but she totally delivered! Definitely doesn't deserve to be in the dance off so many times, how disheartening that must feel for them both. Personally, each of the finalists have a deserved spot in the finals. Each contestant has contributed to the show in their own way as well as bring a new audience to Strictly's doorstep.Being from the US and having no weight in the voting, Strictly should have a clearer set of requirements to becoming a contestant on the show. This would avoid all of the unwarranted backlash towards the contestants. If it's about the journey, then those with dance experience shouldn't have the opportunity to participate. If that's not the case, then this is something the public has to accept. The producers of the show know who they are casting and should do their best to make sure the show is as authentic as possible. As for the public, its our job to not ruin this experience for the current contestants, as well as future ones. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all! As for the show, my almost 2 year and myself love watching. It makes my heart melt watching her try to perform the moves. AND thats what dance is all about.

Sorry for Ashley...she would have been better off doing dancing with the stars...the shows come from the same place but are different...Strictly is very much more about the journey....Stacey to win. Joe might do it ... they came from nowhere to dancing. Granted she does not have ballroom experience but she has been around and participated in dance for yrs just like her pal Nicole who won Dancing with the stars. I like her but not Strictly

She’s got too much dance experience. Joe isn’t as good and neither is Stacey who talks too much and makes it all about her. Faye is the only winner this year, she is genuinely humble and the best dancer.

Ashley is by far the best dancer the show has ever had based upon PRO Dancers and Judges Expert opinions not some jealous people who can not see that Ashley's naturally gifted and talented more then the others it is not dance experience that gives you that . Ashley's has the It Factor . Strickley Fans we know the difference between taking dance lessons as a child and singing and booty popping in a girls band 10 years ago compared to Faye who has a life long career in dancing roles from West End to Dance troop before Steps not to mention her CV show all Google it . Ashley for the win and i look forward to their dances the most !!!

Wow love the way you lie Faye is a pro dancers and has made a living the past 20 years on West End dancing acting roles and training in 12 different kinds of dances styles in the past 12 years not to mention her time in a girl dance troop before STEP Website have this and her CV show all. I believe Ashley is humble and Faye is the Sly one she got away with not one word of persecution when she had more dance back ground then Ashley, Faye Danny ,LEE Ryan ,and Charles , have very extensive dance background that is more impressive and has not been persecuted or mentioned by the British public. Faye has a easy ride to the final .

Warrior of Light She’s been in the dance off three times now I highly doubt that. Considering her dance background, people are strongly against her winning and rightly so. People want to see someone progress throughout the competition. They want a journey. Ashley doesn’t have that. Also, people don’t seem to find her very like able so that’s another reason they don’t vote for her. Faye has somehow gotten away with her dance experience but at least she’s more genuine and like able. Joe or stacey to win!

Helen McCartan in your opinion she might be but not in mine or the judges, but the public did vote her the winner. However based on the judges scores Ashley is the best contestant ever on Strictly and I believe the only contestant to score 5 perfect 40s fir the Jive and American Smooth plus the three dances in the final.

i agree with this and you are true! She also has the highest score average of 36.94 and the most amount of tens alongside Alexandra Burke! The best contestant they've had in all 16 series

Hahaha. That made me laugh. Like saying Tim Henman is a better footballer than Pele. Ashley is an internationally renown dancer. I sure your favourite is good, and like her. But Ashley does this for a living in the premeir league for years.
