I had a Honda civic 2016 for 4 years, and then recently the AC would go in and out, there’s some frame damage and a couple of other things that need to be done and girlll let me tell you, God is good!! Congrats on the new car, as someone that help produce that car in Greensburg Indiana I can assure you we take pride in making affordable and reliable vehicles and it’s great to see it bring happiness. I not only work for Honda I currently drive a 2012 civic that I bought brand new, still driving to this day 370k miles. Keep the oil changed and that car should last you 10 years easily

The best way to finance a car is thru your own bank or even better a credit union, they’ll let you know how much you’re preapproved for then you just go and find something in your budget, congrats on the car!

I have a 23 type r and I will never get another car ever again. It’s blacked out with a limo tint and tricked out wheels. I bought it at 5 miles, not 500, not 5000, 5 miles; and I put all of those miles on it test driving it. I love how quick it is, the insurance isn’t outrageous for what it is (still not cheap, but for a sports car with 300 hp and a manual not bad what I pay.) I love that it only takes 30$ to fill up, and it lasts two weeks as my daily driver. And above all I love the sound system that comes with it from the factory, a Bose sound system with 16 speakers and a mf 10 inch sub in the back all from the factory. And above all I love the reliability and affordability!!!! Literally the best car I’ve ever owned.

Congrats on your new car! That first dealer was adding a bunch of junk fees, for example the maintenance fee shouldn't even exist, the reconditioning of a car should already be accounted into the price, so the dealer is basically trying to charge you twice for reconditioning the car.

I just turned 18 been working literally right as soon as I turned 16, worked 35-40 hours weeks for almost 2 years, I made $26,000, spend some but I'm left with $23,000 plenty of money for a decent first car, I want a G37 but they are all beat up, my mom's cousin is in the Army, he is selling his Infiniti G37xS Coupe for $6,500, on 90,000 miles and it's a pristine condition, a few scratches on the paint but other than that the car is in excellent condition, he takes care of his cars very well! So I'm hopefully going to make a purchase from him.

I used to own a brand new 2024 Honda Civic sport hatchback similar to the one you bought except it was a Platinum White Pearl color model and with the 6 speed manual transmission option. I bought it with new with just 5 miles on the odometer from a Honda dealer. Unfortunately it was the worse manual car I have ever driven and I have owned six cars with a manual transmission, most used. The driving experience was so bad with a rough shifting manual transmission that I had to get rid of it after 9 months and 4.5K miles. Maybe it was just my case but Honda really dropped the ball on the quality control on that Civic. It was not worth the hassle fighting the dealer so I just traded it in. I am definitely done with new(er) Hondas.

First off, I wanna say that I also totaled the car before this one (a 2006 black Honda Civic), and it's a long story, but the guy was a scam artist, and he tricked me into rear-ending him. That was a nightmare, and I went over half a year without a car while working a full-time job and attending classes. Anyway, I started seriously searching around August 2024 for this civic, specifically the Si, because I wanted to drive a manual, and I finally found something before the year ended. Having a brand new car is so exciting! The interior of our cars looks so similar. I'm obsessed with the infotainment center and the sporty design. Anyway, I hope you take great care of this one and install that dash cam! I know floridians can be crazy on the road. Lol 😅 ❤

the car can be financed with interest but you need good credit! you can also lease a car with no interest where you pay monthly and im currently looking for a good insurance company rn! you can negotiate all of that.if you put down more for the down payment, the less the monthly payments will be! mine was $2k

All cars won’t start having problems after 60k mileage if you take care of the car; back in trade school, all my instructors told us students that by doing maintenance and knowing your car. There are some people out there that have more than 150k miles n their car is doing fine and it’s because they been doing maintenance on time

I have a 23 civic sport sedan. And can't imagine getting into a collision. My car has treated me so well and I try to do the same maintenance wise. Compared to my last car 20 spark ls. That car was so bad you would regularly hop on the high way going 70 to 75. And where I'm from that's keeping up with traffic. I loved the way it looked but it wasn't a good car for everything. 98 hp with a max weight of 600lbs and it was struggling with just my brother and I at the time. Had my civic for over a year and a half. And I recommend the new civics for anyone looking for a good newer or new car. But I do want a 4wd option at one point. Great car but slides a little in the snow do to the fwd, but if they put like a snow and or sport mode that utilizes the 4wd for its advantages. Would be really sick. The reason I pick 4wd over awd is because it's nostalgic.
