From someone who’s 38 and single this is my advice: Know no matter what happens you’re going to be absolutely ok. Secondly just make sure you choose someone who loves Jesus and kind and makes you laugh. And also if you find someone like that, just ask them out. If they are a person of character they will protect your heart and mean no ill toward even with rejection. The worst they can say is no and then you move on.

Ashley ~ you mentioned seeking out advice from young moms. I would like to encourage you to also really seek out advice from older women (Titus 2), and God will illuminate them around you! He puts 2 Grandmothers right there with us 🫶🏼, but also Moms of many, as well as other Moms who are doing life with Jesus; Moms with visible Good Fruit. They have the experience, good and bad, that creates a wealth of true Wisdom! 🙏🏼❤️👍🏼 For me my grandmother (a mom to many) was one who I probably got the most practical advice AND encouragement from. What I still share with others are a lot of the golden nuggets she shared with me. (ps - ive been following you with my daughters since you began! we were praying together (to solve a problem) for something truly Good on social media… and viola! God helped us find Coffee and Bible Time. What a joy to “know” you in Christ thru this channel.. youve made a difference in our family! Thank you 3 for that 💞 and now my oldest granddaughter is enjoying watching you and she is always asking me if ive seen the latest video! Yall are something she and I share! Shes an oldest of 4 brothers and she is soo excited for Ashley&Johnnys baby to be born! And we noticed it seemed like you and Isaac had broken up and were so sorry for yall. I cant wait to see her and my daughter later today & share yalls good news! Yall feel sort of like distant cousins you have but never get to see.. just hear the news thru family! Lol Anyway, thanks for all you do and share, and for showing us what a following after Jesus looks like. Keeping Him first, etc. Our girls, our world and our families REALLY need that. 🙏🏼🕊️🔥 God bless you all. Every. single. one. 💞

yes!!! amen!! you do NOT have to be perfect for God to send you a spouse. I have made so many mistakes before and especially IN my relationship. God's ways are higher than ours, and same with His thoughts! I can't begin to understand how and when he decides it is time for us to be with someone!

As a 29 year old mama of 4 under 8, i HIGHLY recommend getting the Wishgarden “Baby Blues” elixir tincture thing! i had PPD with my first, i was terrified my next go round for postpartum & my husband found me that supplement (they have a whole post partum line that’s amazing!) i started taking it 3 times a day while at the hospital & i didn’t even have baby blues with any of my other babies! It may be a placebo or something but i have got it for every other mama i know for their baby shower & lots of my friends have done the same after using it! Just something you could research! 💛

HI! It was a treat to see you both together again! Speaking of quiet time, it's not easy because the enemy will throw all kinds of distractions at you and it's been slow going but I am finally in habit of getting up early to read and pray. So don't give up. It's also challenging because on the days that I don't FEEL the Spirit, I feel like the Lord is not with me but I have to remember, it's not about feeling, it's about faith. I just read through what I plan to read that day and it makes my day so much better. Keep going every one! The Lord will bless you, I promise. The word is our spiritual food, we will be weak without it. Just like with real food. We may not remember everything we have eaten in a month, but our bodies have benefited from it. Congratulations Ashley! Love you both❤️

Paul was not saying its better to be alone. He was restating the questions they wrote him. See chapter 7 of 1 corinthians, "now regarding the questions you have asked me..." If you take in the historical context, he was talking to men who was surrounded by a culture who would "worship" by going to temples and having orgies. They were in the port city of 'sin and sail'. If you read the rest of the letter - he says each man should have his own wife and wife her own husband.

Your degree question and answer...couldn't you have just done your academy without the degrees? It seems like a waste of money to go to college just to set up a bible study online academy. Also, do you feel that you will get back what you both paid in total for your 4 years of college with what your academy earns? And just like a church in ministry, don't think it's more biblical to ask for donations for teaching the bible, rather than charging people? It's like a church having an ATM card/Credit Card slot at the doors and before you can enter and learn the word of God, please slip in your credit card so we can charge you rather than passing the donation basket during service.
@MaryR72564 ай бұрын
No because this is a business not a church so people need to pay for their services!
@coffeeandbibletime4 ай бұрын
To answer your questions: 1. Could we have done our academy without the degrees: I would not have felt comfortable teaching the Bible academically if I did not first get educated with Biblical studies. This was my conviction personally. I wanted to learn from scholars and professors on how to study the Bible, Biblical Greek, Hermeneutics, Theology, Biblical Theology, etc. before I felt comfortable teaching. This was the path that God called me to take. 2. Waste of money: Bible college was one of the best decisions I personally have made and best investments I have ever made. I will always cherish what I learned and I am so thankful I can teach others too with many of the tools I learned in school. I will be using this degree not only for the Academy - but also for ministry, writing, speaking, teaching. 3. Is it more biblical to ask for donations: Coffee and Bible Time is not a church and we do not claim to be a church. Nowhere in. scripture does it say it is wrong to charge money for a Bible study or online course. We are a business-ministry. We have to support 3 full time workers along with part-time staff. This is our career - and if we are to continue we need to make a living through selling products and courses. If this is something you don't feel like investing in financially you do not have to. That is why we try to make available as many free resources as possible: hundreds of videos and PDF Bible studies. I am willing to pay for classes and Bible studies from my favorite Bible authors such as Jen Wilkin and Beth Moore - and I would not complain about them charging because I know that it is a lot of time and effort they put into their Bible studies and teaching lessons. I am thankful for their time and knowledge that they share with the world and willing to invest in their beautiful work. I hope others feel the same way about us. I understand why you have those questions and I ask for empathy and understanding when it comes to us having to charge for different courses and products. If you do not want to partake in those things you do not have to. Thanks so much!
