Started getting up early in the morning before my children to read my bible specifically and to pray and it has changed my life. I notice i'm more graceful with everything and everyone. I'm less annoyed and that's something i have been asking God to help me with. He is soo good and faithful bc it's working and i know it is not by my own effort. Nice video, always calming and peaceful and such a step away from worldly distractions that we can sometimes get caught up in.

I love this! I am glad you are doing better. What you are doing is very good, but also remember the importance of reading the Bible in front of your children as well so they see that and copy you as they get older. I heard this quote once that I really loved it goes like this, Act like how you want your children to remember you.

I may do this but start at night before bed. I find it so hard to wake up early as my kids are 6 & 3 and I try to sleep until 7:00 to get enough rest. I have some metal health struggles like anxiety and also I am coping with grief so I have to find time to cry and grieve after my kids go to bed.

Choose one book of the Bible and try to go through one chapter a day. I would suggest a smaller book to start with like Mark in the gospels :)

Guys, i messed up. Again. And I know God will forgive me, but I feel like I disrespected and disregarded his teachings. Actually I did. How do I come back to him? Sometimes I don't even feel guilty for what I've done, which scares me the most. I am getting too used to being forgiven when I mess up. And sometimes I feel like I'm not forgiven unless I feel guilty. I do acknowledge and confess that I have sinned, but I don't feel free to move on, because I feel like I am disrespecting God when I ask him for forgiveness and then forget about it completely, without even feeling guilty, because I already know I am forgiven. So, my question is: -Should I feel guilty or not. And if i don't feel guilty, have i truly acknowledged that I have sinned against the All mighty God? - what grants me forgiveness? Is it my confession, or my guilt (are those the same thing?), or simply the fact that God is forgiving. -If i don't feel guilty, does it mean I don't have the Holy Spirit in me? Is He leaving me? What should I do???? - and lastly, since God is forgiving and knows all my past and future sins, WAS MY SIN EXPECTED? If yes, should I be reasured or alarmed/ashamed by this?

Just first this much: I can so relate to almost every question and sentence you wrote. I as well sometimes don't even feel guilty and wonder how that is! And as well as you, I sin and again. And I sometimes seem to only understand this GRACE when I do sin and in need of forgiveness and I do find it hard to know: Am I forgiven now? Or maybe in two days? Or right after I realized it and said "sorry" in my mind to him??

Pray regularly to find out if you have done something wrong. This may take awhile. Obsessing about sin is not healthy; I read this somewhere from psychology.

My brain can't comprehend how quickly he forgives, or how great his love for me is. I need to keep reminding myself that.

Today I did actually wake up before sunrise. I have yet to read the Bible though. I might listen to it at the laundromat though. I have the audio Bible, you can get them on Amazon. It's no CDs, it's completely it's own thing. I was up around 7 AM, which here is before sunrise.

Is it sad that I get mad at my mom for not letting me do what I want. I got mad at her because she wouldn't let me go walking at 6am. I am just like mom I am 30 I know how to take care of myself quit treating me like a kid I am grown. I get so jealous of my neighbor because she can walk in the rain when it's like thundering and lighting and the rain is coming down and she walks in the cold she continued walking in the freeze storm back in February I am just like I want to be that dedicated like she is. She is up early during the weekdays before she goes to work at the library and even though she has a knee problem she still tries to run she use to be a runner and I am trying to work my way at being just like her she is a person who women should be like it's like she is perfect and I stive to be like that too but I can't. Like tomorrow morning she is going to be outside walking. She is super skinny and fit she is amazing I am trying to live a life like that and she is probably in her 50's maybe mid 40's something like that.
