Another amazing sail in. You definitely appreciate a balcony on those mornings. Fascinating about the Opera house sloping roof. We recently returned from Athens, and just outside the city, their Opera house and National library have a similar architectural feature, but with a landscaped garden as you ascend. Anyway, another enjoyable video of you and the gang exploring these great destinations that really intrigue and excite us to visit soon, via cruise voyage most likely.

Thank you again for such nice comments. Oslo was a new port for us but I was happy with what we were able to do - just walking off from the ship is always great and we prefer just to do our own tour. Athens is somewhere we love too and maybe will return to once day. Regards, Ashley and Andrea.

@@hikingtohealth You would love the Lake District. So many things to see and do, not just the hills, great castles, parks, beaches, history, old churches and ruins, and lots of lakes off course. Takes a 3 hour drive from Cairnryan and most of that is scenic too. Ashley

Total blank canvas for me, as I have never been before, so totally unaware what to expect and if I am brutally honest, I was a bit underwhelmed, not really sure what I was expecting but not really for me. My mate is doing the same cruise (I think) as you but on a different ship and his first stop off from Southampton is also Oslo, so I will be interested in hearing what he thinks when I see him. We did our own tour - a guided tour might have shown a different side to it, but then you pay for that and they go quite slow so we managed to see quite a bit and didn't get lost, that's always a big plus!! Thx , Ashley
