How to Reverse Park into a Bay for the UK Driving Test. This manoeuvre is still going to be used on the Driving Test that started in December 2017.

Hi Ashley, extremely useful video, i couldnt park my moms vauxhall meriva last week to save my life, had a viewing of this clip and i tried it out, parked the car 3 times in a row perfectly, remembered to check all around the car too. I've passed my test and still don't feel I have the confidence to do this. Every car park is always so busy and I know it'll take me 10 mins to do it 😂

Just a little comment to let Ashley know that using his bay parking techniques, I did it for the first time ever in my 2nd lesson without fail, both forward and reverse. :)

Liam Sheridan Only if you’re directly in the middle of the Bay and the ones in front are also symmetrical. Remember you’re not reversing forward! Thank for watching, Ashley

Ashley Neal well i only ever did 1 hour on reversing, although looking forward is the only technique i still use from all the things i had learnt, i have to say its totally different in the real world! I was never tought the 45 degree method (which i use 95% of the time), something I just had to pick up on to make life easier, still, passed first time within 20 hours with only 2 minors.. both of which I should never have gotten!

Depends on the car. Sometimes you have to look around the middle pillar :)

Do I have to put my signal when I Bay park?
