As beautiful as this song is, you know there's darkness to it, too. The fairies often enchant humans just because they can. And, while this girl was swept away into a world of seemingly endless enchantment, her human family probably spent the rest of their lives mourning her, wondering where she'd gone, having disappeared one night without a trace. The fairies are alchemists, teaching the lesson that to gain something, something else must be given up in return. Be cautious when dealing with them. They will be kind or mischievous as they will.
@delilahvalhalla84452 жыл бұрын
Hearing this I imagined a neglected or abused girl at home that found comfort at night or in the rain or gardening like me and that faiyres saved her like I always wished for myself. And the mourning family hasn't noticed her disappear Another take is that a poor starving girl out side the village on the edge of the forest was passing away and the fayires where helping or the same abused girl it kinda alternated in my head when my eyes were slosed while enjoying this on tje woods
@Gabriel-fz4ys2 жыл бұрын
no its a metaphor. she's calling the guy the fairy king, but he.... isn't. its a metaphor, just as faeries are themselves. he's actually a man and she's an angel. she sings of how she is entranced by him, calling him the faerie king. The tragedy is in her lost purity.

i know you probably haven't had a pov written in your comments but i just can't help myself, soooo... {``} It was a dark, yet beautifully star-lit night out in the gardens. Fireflies and floating candles helped light the clearing, even though faeries can see in the dark. Many other faeries of different colours and backgrounds waltzed with the music and a mortal stood alone. They were under an enchantment at first, but the enchanter died, and so they were free, but a part of them couldn't leave this mysterious place. The faerie woman ended her song, then looked at the crowd, then the King. She began to sing a new song, one that has yet to be sung. Her words echoed unnaturally as the folk stopped and listened. As the faerie lady kept singing, the folk began to try and make up a new dance on the spot. The mortal watched, but then the King himself approached them. "Dance with me," he said, and held out his large hand with ringed fingers that glistened in the moonlight. The mortal was stunned, but couldn't help but accept His Majesty's offer. The King and the mortal began to twist and twirl with the mesmorizing song, and kept dancing until the sun rose. {``} anyway, that's what i see when i hear this incredible song: a lost mortal and a beautiful king dancing 'till the sun rises (maybe even falling in love hehe).
