Anupam and Ashneer are so right that Funeral cannot be considered as problem which need to be solved. Also,when someone passes away and their family has to book a vehicle in urgency(telling by personal experience) they immediately agree and in half of the cases they charge less money than expected so why will someone call a service like this.

Sabhi ke sath to same condition nhi hoti h, there are many saituations where family don't have do these rituals, in these cases they really need this type of services, true example you can realize in pandemic time, people really need help. Ofcourse, people should not take this as a buinsess but it should be social activity with minimum expenses. At last, all of these are hard core business Man, they would not think to take this as a bunisess. But we have to think in other way.

this is true but after 5-6 years atleast because in my family we still do this in traditional way like carrying the body on 4 shoulders, etc( telling you from my personal experience) and ha online groceries laata hai kyoki aakal time kiske paas hai pr ye funeral ke wakt to time hi time rhta hai koi ditch thori kr skta hai but yeah thats my opinion and yours can differ too

She is not just earning bro infact solving a problem of high society and even nowdays of middle man society.We have all seen in pandemic that people are not very much supportive when they hear that there neighbour or relatives died due to corona.Noone was available.Dead body was in flat for more then 1 day. Dost paisa hone ke baad bhi logo ko poochane wala nhi tha humne as relative,friend and ngo bahut se logo ki help ki pandemic mai.. aur sab jaante hai corona naye varient mai repeat ho rha hai regular toh aisi condition mai ye startup logo ke dard mai sayad kuch masiha ki bhoomika nibha paaye... sorry if you find something wrong in my words.

I think the sharks were completely wrong about this.. this is a genuine dilemma especially for middle class and nuclear families. There is huge market for these kind of services in USA where they charge hefty for arranging funerals, coffins and even for putting makeup/fixing face in case of accident and its disheartening to see as some family even take loans in USA for funerals. I can never think of this idea as business or converting this idea into business, even if it's the last option to choose. It's such a dark area/industry, that I never wish to step into. Whether it be a million dollars business or billion dollars business, I couldn't care less. Agr mere koi dur k ristedar ya koi frnd jisse do din pehle hi mila hu bhi aisi kisi condition me pad jae where they need any kind of help regarding funeral or last rights, I would willingly do it for them for free, without any regret or second thought. Even if for 1 sec we consider this as a good business idea , still the percentage of people buying this services would be less . So for now , this is not a good business. In our Indian culture , if someone dies in family , we don't consider these rituals as a burden instead we take part voluntarily and help the people to recover from the loss and the large percentage of India i.e people from small cities and villages still follow this. Yeah , but as world is changing place . Digitalization , industrialization will increase more.. People won't have time to do these things even in villages and small cities then yess we will need these kind of services in future . But I hope that day won't come 🥲

I guess the sharks would've invested in this if it were like a service that brings bodies from abroad to home or from hospital to home etc. But there are many services like this. Like someone here in the comments mentioned, I see it more like a charity or purely service act. But by looking at how these people are making money, it fortunately or unfortunately is also a booming business.

This is definitely a business that is important and will run. People living in apartments really dont have much land in their name to cremate their dead ones. So services that take care of these processes and let the family grieve in peace is pretty solid.

Cremation grounds are there bro..... And I don't think anyone will get peace by letting the funerals of their dear ones be done by someone else outside of the family.... 😅 I don't know about other religions but in Hinduism... We do care about our dear ones 😅
