If you want to slightly improve this set; the Hard Boiled Heavy’s arms and legs can be swapped with the 1x4 hinged tiles in light grey. Bring in eight, and it gets articulated knees and elbows, without changing the look too much. You also don’t have to remove more than 8 pieces to do this!

I like how every lego sonic set that has a spot meant to by hit by Amy's hammer has a pink 2x2 round tile, good consistency with the play features.

Kinda wish Amy had a different expression at the very least... I've already built my own MOC of the Master Emerald shrine so hopefully I can take elements from mine to add upon this one. Very good review and I can't wait to see what LEGO and SEGA reveal in the future. 😊

I’m glad they have Amy included so I don’t have to buy the $50 or $100 set just for her but if I could only have two figures in the set, I’d rather have Rouge and Knuckles and skip out on that mech set. I’d get Amy in another set eventually. I actually bought the mech today after watching this review and LEGO knows people like me will buy it just for Rouge and the Emerald. I would’ve bought that on bricklink but I got the set for half-price and Rogue basically goes for that price on bricklink.

Counterpoint: the Knuckles mech set is actually pretty good (good articulation on the mech and Rouge's glider is cute) but it does suck that that specific set is the only way to get the ME.

A little disapointing this wave of three sets did not have new figures just variatouns of exsisting ones. With amy and sonic as a possible couple I thought cream and blaze would be fun aditions for tails' knuckles and even shadow. I just like making my owne stories and idias. Big would be a good one and for the villions mettel.

Yeah, that Knuckles mech was awful. I refused to buy that crap. This shrine is a much better setting for Knuckles, and with the addition of the Eggrobo, the set gives Sky Sanctuary vibes.
