I was disappointed with the set of Gru's mansion, I expected it to be something similar to the Lockwood mansion in terms of concept, the mansion looks quite simple and flat to me, I expected Gru's figure to at least have the Pinocchio mold... Well at least we now have adult Gru in Lego but I have to say that I have been very disappointed :(

I’ve never seen the movies, but they’re obviously very successful. I believe another brick company currently has the license HOWEVER according to leaks and rumors. LEGO was planning to have a Dimensions pack of Godzilla and Kong. I think large scale sets of them would do EXTREMELY well

@@Ashnflash originally i had these writen out for the idea of mega contrux given they do have actual GxK sets but they are brick built characters, i think full micro scale sets could work well for kaiju property given the rebuild-ability. and the only context i have for Lego dimensions is that king kong does appear as a boss in the lego batman movie pack but again much like how superheroes works so well for lego (god knows how many sets there are, not even just for the MCU stuff) i feel like giant monsters would work well as sets. heck they could do what lego chima did and given them original heads that still works with these sets, personally for more cursed underheads LOL. plus i know lego has a rule against military stuff but the vehicles can be so small you dont have to id them as that, even for the ships u can just call them boats, not like u will have army men in these sets

Honestly a little disappointed big Tim wasn't real. I was hoping they would make the large sets a new theme. They could have made a huge Tantiss or something like it for Bad Batch and include a bunch of minifigures like Scorch and Commandos and TK troopers. Though I guess UCS is sorta like that.

I'm surprised the Mega Minions on that Lego Gru's Mansion set never really appeared since as someone defending those characters they are what I like about the upcoming DM4 movie unlike how the comments feel about them since they just want everything to be "original" as that phrase kinda got alittle stale for me, but I guess it's a "copyright" thing lol. It's a bummer you had to take that video down. I had a feeling it was spoilery as we have never seen minions like that before and it was kind of weird, but now LEGO spoiled another movie for fans. They really need to watch that more carefully. It is so frustrating that we either get spoiled elements of movies by LEGO, or to avoid spoilers, we have to wait a year or more after the project's release to get the LEGO sets we actually want (Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Ahsoka series with the Statue of Liberty Final Battle and Ahsoka the White, Ezra, and Thrawn for the Ahsoka show.) My comment on the other video was about how I fell for the Supersized Tim April Fool's Joke and how somehow everyone became incredible at telling April Fools' Jokes with this from LEGO, Nintendo's Virtual Reality skit, and a Marvel content creator doing 4 different April Fools' Jokes based on Spider-Man news, and I actually fell for two of them and this LEGO joke.
