Holy Downgrade Batman. The 2021 set is great and I believe I got it on sale for $30 or so. Other than Joker and Two Face there is no reason to buy this set. Hard pass.

Personally I going to try and wait for a sale unless someone comes up a really cool alternate build. I have the previous version. I wanted this for the figures obviously. I'm so glad I got the previous version. Previously version blows this one up just by showing up.

I actually prefer the new one. Thing I love about lego is that it is a system, buildings, roads, people, it all suppose to go together and be in scale. With other toys, not so much, but with lego you can be sure that cars and people and buildings are in same scale and match. And new car fits the scale just right, like a truck or something. But old one, while being more detailed is way too big for figures or other lego cars, it just doesn't work scale wise. So I'll be getting new one with no regrets.

Two things I dislike (aside from price being insane) is the lack of leg printing and the reused Batman face for every Batman now, the 89 Batmobile figure and the BTAS Batmobile figure use the same face as this one when I feel like some variety would be nice, just a small nitpick though, you can obviously alter it now with the new helmet making it easier. Great review!

Fully agree. It’s bizarre that a line like Harry Potter goes above and beyond to differentiate the different ages and outfits of characters for each movie, even the length of their hair changes. The attention to detail in that line is fantastic. The superhero line is getting butchered imo

tbf the size of the newer one does feel like it's closer to being minfig scale. The real tumbler is like 4 feet tall. I'm always a sucker for vehicles being closer to minifig scale but the price jump is so insane.

Really takes it into perspective when you think about how the LEGO Batman Movie’s Two Face looks way way more gnarly than the LEGO Dark Knight Two Face. I mean on that minifigure his face was literally melting off his flesh! This version just looks a tiny bit burnt up.

I immediately bought a sealed copy of the 2021 set after watching this video. There seem to be a fair number of them going on eBay for £45 with free shipping, and for it coming out at £35 in 2021 compared to the £55 they’re asking for the new one, I think that’s a pretty good deal

Holy cow thats insane! I genuinely thought this new one was gonna be larger because of the box art and to accommodate the rubber cape. Thankfully I still have the old one, its one of my top 10 maybe top 5 sets. It was a good price and such a fun build! Does this new one have even have any interesting build techniques like the old one? Like how the side windows are at an angle?

so the 2021 tumbler is actually my favorite lego dc set of all time. I LOVE that set. now when the new one came out, I must say I didn't get the hype. all of the figures looked pretty weak to me, and I didn't understand why is no one talking about how small it is. I'm glad now the reviews are starting to come out, it's starting to be talked about, since it's just TINY.

Part of me wished it should have been something other than a new Tumbler, as they could have done a TDK set with the Batpod. It would have been a chase set of Joker hijacking a GCPD truck while holding Harvey Dent hostage and Batman in the Batpod. It would have also included an extra head and hair piece for Dent to have him be Two-Face, much like the 2021 set having an extra head for Batman to be Demon Batman. I hope when they do a TDKR next we get two sets with Bane's Tumbler & Batpod and the Bat, or have them both in one set and have it be a remake of the 2012 TDKR set. It would also have the Batpod with extra minifigures such as Catwoman and maybe Talia or John Blake (Robin) as the 5th minifigure. Part of me thinks it would just be 3 much like the other TDK sets and if there were more minifigures it would need to be 2 sets.

going from a two seater to a one seater was a terrible idea. And it’s not like they couldn’t have improved the 2021 build. The tires are a bit too large for accuracy. But on 2025 the back tires are way too small. I hope for Rises, we get like a $100-$120 remake of 76001 The Bat vs Bane, with both vehicles getting beefed up and then a Batpod with Catwoman too

Honestly they could have done the Two-face figure better. His non burned side is literally just Bruce Wayne's face from this set. Meaning that if you wanted to do a Harvey variant with a similar tan hair piece he'd look identical to all the Robins and Bruce and any other non cheek boned guy with black eyebrows.

I got the set and put it together. I disregarded the instructions for the inside of the cockpit and am absolutely able to place two minifigures side by side inside it.

I redid the interior and made the front windshield attached to the roof when it lifts up allowing for easier access to the cockpit which was actually surprisingly easy to reconfigure for two minifigs. If I could attach a photo I would but with the mild reworking I like this one better than the 2021 model in terms of scale. Those back wheels tho… not a fan. Gotta find a fix for that next.

I might be on the other side of the coin of this (wink wink), while the price increase is ridiculous for a smaller Tumbler, I absolutely adore the sleekness they have incorporated into the set. Tiling up most of the Tumbler hides most of the Lego studs and makes it a whole lot more visually appealing. Just my two cents.

I actually like new one the most, and love that they made it smaller, as someone with an ever growing lego city, to me, this is first one that has ever truly felt “minifig” scale, it looks about 10 studs wide + wheel space, which comparing real life one to cars around it in movie, is pretty 1:1 to lego, like if I wanted to set scene up now in my city with it, I feel it would look movie accurate next to 6’ and 8’ wide lego city cars and speed champs, and for me that’s most important factor…but the price is outrageous 😂

This set is definitely just a minifig set for me. Got rid of original UCS Tumbler so getting Heath Ledger Joker and Two-Face are great. Have the previous play scale Tumbler with nightmare Batman, so not even sure I’d build this Tumbler. Might just see how much Joker and Two-Face are on Ebay rather than paying $60 for this set.

As outrageous as the price is, I will probably grab it when its on sale, mod the 2021 version to make it look better and enjoy having a Ledger joker, two face, scarecrow and demon batman on display with the bat signal. might even make a fig stand with the tumbler parts. Oh and the red brown and light grey technic in the rear wheel is criminal, especially with what you pay these days

I kind of like the scale of the new one compared to the figures but the difficulty in getting Batman inside is a big problem. And the price is insane!! I built Hachiroku's version a few years ago, I'm happy with that. I can feel myself getting priced out of this.

Having seen a couple of IRL tumblers, the scale to a minifig is actually pretty spot on 👌 but man I just can’t accept the price - they knew exactly what they were doing by putting Nolan Joker and Two-Face in there haha I think it would be a hard sell without them
