Can an individual in US on a TN permit (Canadian citizen) or visiting US apply for adjustment of status? And are they allowed to travel in and out of US while adjustment of status application is being processed? Approval of Adjustment of status is dependent on the availability of visa number?

With the new rule of filling i485 along with i526, do we get the conditional green card for 2 years once i485 is approved along with EAD, advance parole or do we have to wait for i526 to get approved for getting the conditional green card ?

For EB-5 applicants, the conditional green card is typically issued after the I-526 is approved. The I-485 can be filed concurrently or after the I-526 is approved, but the green card (even conditional) generally comes after I-526 approval, not just based on I-485 approval. The EAD (Employment Authorization Document) and advance parole allow for work and travel, but they are not equivalent to receiving a conditional green card. Thus, in general, the I-526 needs to be approved for you to receive a conditional green card, even if your I-485 is approved and you have EAD and advance parole.
