Nothing is better than hearing drummers talk about their favorite cymbals. 😁

Doogy was a special special soul. I would ring him when he was asleep and he knew I was struggling, he would get out of bed and chat to me for hours and talk me through stuff. Stuff that only a man that had had that experience would have understood. Sorry Sandra for him waking you up chatting to me late at night but you know he helped me so much through what I was going through. Love you doog always and forever. And thanks for the pedal. Big love always. Dx Ps - Ash, great you mentioned such a great bloke. I heard some stories but I think he knew I was struggling at the time and he was just there (selflessley) listening to my late night drivel. Thanks Ash for sharing, thanks Doog for listening and thank you Sandra for not telling him to put the phone down when I woke you both up. Dx

As a “rock-fusion” player I envy stories like these. There’s no way hats would last me that long 😅

Amazing sounding hats! *Nerd warning* what weight are those Ash ? I've got a pair of 60s As that are about 850g top and 1250g bottom and they don't sound quite as smooth as yours (I wish they did!)

Those really are special, thx for sharing the story. Are these the ones you used on the Toontrack library? Those are my gotos from them. I’d also love to know the weight of these and the others please.
