I like your strategies, but I think I’m going to stick with choosing based on how cool their mascot looks

Love the video. I'm a little frightened because of the things to do in Tallahasse. I'm from Miami transferring here for 2 years and Im used to things being open late and tons of things to do. (Im actually in Tally today and tomorrow (monday) for orientation but wanted tour around campus).

It is definitely a huge shift coming from a big city like miami to a quiet town like Tallahassee, but there is a pretty cool culture here and a few really cool spots to visit! I have some videos about things to do around here too if you wanna check it out :)

hey ashtonnn ive been binging your vids lol i know you’re off campus @ fsu, just wanted to ask how parking is? i want to be off campus my freshman yr but finding parking on campus everyday seems stressful

Hey Skye! I'm so happy youre loving the vids and I appreciate all the support! Parking is always going to be a struggle, but it is also a very doable situation. I personally drive a truck that doesn't fit in any of the garages so its super hard for me to find parking. but even with that struggle, i am able to find a spot 90% of the time, it just may be an inconvenient spot from where im trying to go on campus. 8AM classes are a life hack to getting parking all day though too, and all of the "forbidden" teacher lots open after 5!

i’m extremely conflicted between fsu and uf pace and idk what to do lol how would you describe the student culture or stereotypes at fsu? is tally that different from gville (if you’ve been)? love the video!!
@colbyoliver70552 жыл бұрын
live in tally. do uf pace online from tally

Thank you so much! I would say that between uf and fsu the student cultures are very similar. UF is obviously going to be a little more academically centered from what I've seen than fsu. UF is more science and engineering while FSU is artsier and more pre-law driven. I would highly recommend looking at both campuses because that is where both schools differ the most. I hope this helps!

Personally I would do FSU in person over UF pace because I hate online school, and I would want that traditional freshman experience. You could probably transfer from FSU to UF anyways if you make good grades your first semester/year, but I’ve known lots of people who intended to do that but ended up loving FSU. That’s my thoughts and what helped me choose FSU, but just make sure you’re doing what’s best for you!

Ashton, my daughter will be applying to FSU this summer for fall and she’s biracial (black Hispanic). Is there diversity on campus and if so do you feel race relations are in a good place there?
@ashtonherndon2 жыл бұрын
Hi Natalie, as far as I have seen there is a good amount of diversity on campus and around Tallahassee as a whole since we are right next to FAMU as well. There are several societies for Hispanic Americans, Black student unions, and many other cultural clubs that make the race relations here pretty solid to meet like-minded people that come from the same culture
